It is vital that we all learn the ways of empowerment.

Mobsters in film and story are beloved by all. The endless associations with the means of power, force, intimidation lifts the spirits and charges the hackles of red blooded folk everywhere. Chests can be puffed out. Squints can be flinty. Scowls can be real.

Mobsters in film and story are beloved by all. Templates of behavior can be laid. Facets of aggression and authoritarianism can be nurtured. The way to the imposition of will can be studied. Enemies can be dealt with.

The fall back culture of the mean and well worked is happy intimidation. Texas gunmen. Big city union goons. The strain is of long tradition and honor. It is vital that we all learn the ways of empowerment.

Wish the region to be a garden of Western Eden or contain the threat to a sane ordered world.

Deal with hearts and minds and ancient riffs or deal with the real politic of interests, order, stability, sustenance, security.

Aims good, noble, true and open to interpretation or aims of squeezing and choking the life out of those who will always choose be at war.

Know that the reality of Western security is a valid point. Know that that is the equation. Know to work from there.

We are going to strengthen the broad based middle class so that ….

We are going to flee from the authoritarian strains in our political culture by championing the middle class and its sustainability. We are going to intentionally strengthen the broad based middle that serves as a bulwark against the influences of the snide, the wealthy, the powerful and those outside of the general rules and mores of our society.

We are going to strengthen the broad based middle class so that its lovely self and selves will be able to establish itself as a defining factor of nationhood open to the idea of a nationhood that is a self contained unit not open to the blackmail and machinations of those who are citizens of the world or owners of it.

We are going to strengthen the broad based middle class so that political sanity may reign and extreme views may have something large, heavy and bulbous to run up against.

We are going to do such things so that a rational stable society may emerge.

Give it up suckers. They are smarter and tougher than you and they keep on coming.

Anti intellectualism, oligarchy, whip hands and feelings of being a poor, poor put upon hard working, sensationally pure and pristine comatose majority of heaven sent bashers and well wishers ….. this is the holy city on the hill … the self image of the most pure and righteous of Americans as they toil in their fields and vineyards of cry babying and festering dislike …… while they push forward the envelope to constantly take power and powers from those that don’t deserve it and constantly give power and powers to those that do.

We need to set the stage right so that the right kind of people, the right kind of government can take over the right kind of game and meet out the right kind of proper redress to /and from the right kind of proper caste system.

Absent an all out assault upon entrenched rancid defenders of the old archaic, devalued order of powers stolen from their rightful owners ….. then slowly putting the frog of illusory protections from scum into the fires of slick assed slogans and fanciful hates will allow heaven to triumph and the right boots to be heeled upon the right throats.

In a violent society, or subset of a society, violence is nurtured, honed, feared, taught, looked to for conflict resolution, looked to for protection. Skills, weapons, alliances, necessary intimidation and willingness to act punctuate all moments, lead all thinking. Survival, dominance, these are natures demands.

Where there is no pretense of a commonality of interests, mastery of force is the necessary evil. Where there is a pretense of the commonality of interests diffusion of conflict is a desirable thing.

The young are guided by many motivations. In violent circumstance the must navigate the paths of survival. In advanced societies they are often given not many necessities. They are also not educated in the ways of conflict resolution from an early age. Schools attempt to prepare their charges for a workable future. A survivable future would seem to need giving them the tools to survive.

Force is always a tool. It is necessary to know who owns it.

The use of force is reserved for the government. This helps keep competing powers and thugs from establishing their own rules and their own ways. This is how governments regulate aggression and fear. This is how they establish order, law and protection. This is also a changeable position, challenged by those who wish access to the force they deem necessary to protect their interests, to advance their interests. This is also a changeable position by those who respect not government, find government an impediment, wish to establish powers of their own. Governmental force, non governmental force, both, may be bought and sold. The question is always begged …. the challenging of this force always threatens chaos. Lack of checks upon same brings a submissive society.

The force of power is challenged for abundant reasons, acceptable to the common good, unacceptable to it. The will to master sanctioned force keeps government functioning. This functioning may be mastered by the interests of many, the few. The pressure upon those who control the trigger, the use, is invited often.

The power to manipulate starts with such things.

A world of wage slaves and survivors is a world that needs to clamor for order, an order that may enable the wage givers to survive and stay whole and profitable. Those others wishing to become wage slaves need order so that there may be a hope of expansion so that they may have wages as well. This is a dependency factor, the dependency upon those who have the means, the power, the wealth to create valued, needed opportunity and growth. All dependency factors work well into the hands of those who can become the masters in the equation, the party upon which dependency is bestowed. The power to manipulate starts with such things.

Those in position to be divorced from the rest of their societies by reason of freedom of movement, wealth, access to state or personal force, access to the all little power vacuums or power positions need work the dependant other. It is in their interests to create or allow to be created systems, states where such dynamics are in play.

In clashes of culture, in clashes of idea, in clashes of venality, authoritarianism is a comfort to many.

In clashes of culture, in clashes of idea, in clashes of venality, authoritarianism is a comfort to many.

Messy worlds always call for the rise and hope of the authoritarian. Struggles demand order and order comes only when stasis can be reached by some means of an acceptable balance of interests in a given society. Chaos, threats to established mores, distrust of present power structure, legitimacy of present power structures, aims of present power structures all push for action, retaliation, desired order flowing from desired necessary power.

All power vacuums invite challenges. Systems who can be open to challenge are wary of any openings to shared power or diminished power. Conflict breeds lack of order, danger.

Be it here at home, be it in a different world, authoritarianism is always lurking, is always an antidote to uncertainty, lack of acceptable structure.

The double speak of politics, the distrust of meaning ….

There seems to be little understanding of Western “secular” values amongst those who consider freedom of speech a ploy and a tool to diminish and keep down those that they envision the West seeing as of a lesser bent.

The “secular” values of liberal societies and the traditions and juris prudence they uphold are not envisioned as “holy” values by those who cannot accept them or the principles upon which they rest. By some of the West as well.

Conversations on clashes of cultures need be clear upon the divisions, the questions, the need for the mutual respect of those, if any, of good will. Clarifications and understandings of principle, modes of survival, colors of souls and the choosing to see that which unopened minds cannot may stumble into a path to follow.

The double speak of politics, the distrust of meaning, views as dialog of warfare, threats to ordered worlds all hinder conflict resolution.
