Standing against the tide of venal takes sinew, muscle, obstinance, desire, the inconvenience of guts.

Political systems function in the best interests of the power brokers, players, inhibitors in a given system. Power is enforced, aligned, used, abused, caressed ,made functionary.  Rule, law, dictate, force functions within the relationships of power balance, cost, desire.  The corruption of the system, the defining of a system as arbitrary, to be used, gamed, run over ….. the ways of the trail.  Corruption is drive.  Justice, power balance, minority access to power, kumbaya, the ideals of enlightened democracy seek adherents who with strength matter, who with strength find such pie in the sky desirable.  Worlds of tin pot demagogues, demigods, dictators, ideologues, true believers, bastards and clowns find joy and comfort in their own atmospheres and rancid air.  The realist works the corrupt system, maximize its flaws, takes no hostages.  The ability to be evil comes with cunning.

Signposts worry not about the ability to be and do evil ….. the shadow boxing in the shadows with breakers.  We worry not about protection from authoritarians, manipulators, fairy dust blowers.  We worry only about what shirt the pig has on.

The power of right championing the Balkanization of us all.

The myth is that we are a universal, national whole of a country accepted so by a glad “American” populous.

A balance of factions, regions, states, interests, demands fitting inside of this holy framework sounds about right.

Sacred freedom is that of actions within the boundaries of the whole and the constitutional contract therewith.

The freedom to nullify this co-opting contract is, however, the freedom of now.

Nullification.  Charmed imposition of will.  Irate battles for the supremacy of interests applied so to go on forever … a zero sun game of politics … no little game of the maximization of power within the lands of checks and balances.  Islands unto self.  Laws unto self.  Warlords unto self.  Separate in relation to any hold that the whole my choose to use.

Certainties confuse the passionate folk who have not time or inclination for debate, uncertainty, the weeds of truth..

Authoritarian personality, good.  Aggression in the name of purity, good.  Certainty in the name of manufacturing ones’ own premise, good.

Genius is the perfect logical extension of failed premise.  This genius is our American genius ….. the prize martyrs of certainty, purity, shock, hate, awe.

Be they right, left, cavernously  empty headed or thrillingly blunt and wily and mean and rife with victimhood, the stars align with the spirits of certain promise, bravado, hope, despair, attack, reaction, power grabbing.  Paths to power run through other people’s hates, fears, true beliefs.
