So we have the fight for the soul of the American public.  We have those lacking compassion.  We have those awash with it.  We have those understanding the trials and conflicts of production and those who appreciate not the efforts of innovation, management, survival.  We have those who see the old evils of unbridled laissez – faire capitalism and those who do not.   It is always the old conflicts.  What does capitalism owe to labor….what does labor owe to capitalism?  Is labor an endless pool to be eternally abused as an endless glut on the market?  Is capital an endless evil trying to navigate the bitter fields of production, efficiency, competition, vulnerabilities in markets and systems?

The age old fight between the individual and the collective……the fodder of the collective versus the soul of the individual.  Where today is the the acceptable line drawn?  Do we not factor in the line at all?  Stifle the human spirit and the society is dead.  Stifle the living prospects of the general populace and the society is rancid.  Capital creates capital….that is its purpose……all other grand benefits are off shoots not aims.   Labor creates survival……too much a drag on production and nimbleness can kill the goose….Disrespect for either of the two, the fat cats, the greedy parasites and ugly is the world.

The many mealy mouthed babblers, cons, charlatans, fools and worthless scoundrels wrapping themselves in the flag that is the last refuge of scoundrels all claim to speak for the American public when the American public can’t even speak for itself.  We don’t know what the hell we stand for……we’re too damned put upon, intimidated used, abused, manipulated and sapped to care.  A soul requires soul searching.  Soul searching requires contemplation, thought, quiet.  Quiet requires that the whole damned political world shut up.

Bread and circuses.  Patter and undignified pieces of gum that are forever stuck on the dirty shoes of public discourse.

Means and ends.  Heartening talk, menial work, sickening talk, numbing skills.

The views from trails of tears and trouble mountain is grim and dreary.

The views from the gulfs of sincerity are null and void.

Power vacuums, systemic vulnerabilities, the running of the table and the rigging of the game.

The sun rises and shines upon the nifty and the fed.

The hearts of the losers think that they are in the game.

Vote for dreamers in chief….for haters in chief…. for the standards bearers of purity and knights guarding against the onslaught of the impure.

Vote for the believers and the magicians.

Vote for the cracks in the Liberty Bell.  The cracks are true.  They stood for fight.

Vote for the future.  Nullify the past.  Demean the present.  Buy the sky.

Vote to keep the cattle penned, the rustlers strong.  Vote to open the range to the drunk and the low.

The rest of scum are the best of scum.

Vote ideals.  True posture and free.

Vote dignity.  We have poise.

We have always each other.

There are grand pooh bas, points and topics up for debate.  There are the realms of those who give a damn…and the realms of those who don’t.

There are the ones who are for cheap labor…. the ones who are for cheap money….there are the ones who are for cheap hoods…the ones who are against cheap food.  We have the ones who are for hard work….the ones who are are for hard choices.  There are those for killing, those for killing the golden goose.  There are those for killing any and all who steal the goose’s eggs to eat.  We have them all…the long, the rich, the tall.  The dumb, the weak, the poor.

We have the mutts, the ruts, the nuts, the sluts, the cuts, the buts, the whats, the guts, the huts, the lusts.  We have the storms the swarms, the flies in the ointment, the bats in the belfry.  We have the killers, the owners, the breakers, the nullifiers, the wretched, the ugly, the divine.  We have the games they play.

We have the talk, the walk, the sick, the tricks, the droll, the cynical, the snide.  We have it in spades.  All.  We have the big show, the merry housewives.  We have the circus, the tent, the lions, the leopards, the girls, the fights.  We have  the gamed, the gamers, the games, the plays.

All is code.  All is faction.  All is story.  All is narrative.  All is lies.  All is agenda.  The broken pot with power vaccums begging gives chance to those who know what time it is.

It is time to conquer.

It seems to me that in the grand scheme of things and the grand cultural marches through time, the great contributions to human growth and progress, self actualization, self awareness, intellectual pursuits and defense against small minded idiots, bigots, intellectual poseurs, slobs who can intimidate but not reason, kill but know no heart or wisdom, seek power and the use of and limitations of others ….. it seems to me  the grand traditions of  Renaissance, Enlightenment, development of critical thought, the standings for honest inquiry …. the meekly dawning weapons against ideology, orthodoxy, dictated ways of thought, book burning, haters….it seems to me that this has probably been a good thing.

This cherished prize ours is, of course,  generally attacked, hated, pushed towards ruin, demonized, dirtied, wished to go away.  This cherished prize ours, its grand proponents, are routinely wished ruin, disembowelment, the flames of hell, the wish to be the food of fish.  This cherished prize ours is sagely identified as godless demonization, elitist relativism, soft, mooching, preying Shylocking and degraded muck from the pits of hell.

To cherish that which has made a culture great, that which has given lifeblood to praised and rejected cultural and political antecedents, to champion the cause for its greatness is to court demise.  Simple thought, simple answers.  Idiots delight and snakes’ base orthodoxy.  Churlish propagandists and rank little cynics who buy and sell, whip and muster, break and draw and quarter…they steal the future, ring dry freedom of movement, of thought, leave no place physical or mental worthy to go ….no avenues untouched by simplicity, orthodoxy, numbness, dictates of divine grand pooh bas and devils…no avenues independent or non treasonous…. the grand logical conclusion of intellectual progress is that the number of anti intellectual idiots will eventually overrun and save the day.

A tradition that make pride is a dangerous thing.   Ugly is better.

Since all processes around all politics are fixed only when they are not then it is no great surprise that all of our paragons of virtue and sincerity, freedom lovers all, fight mightily for their very own little ends but fight mightily not for the preservation of a legitimate democratic republic.

Politics ain’t bean bags and the stakes are always high, the pressures are always great, the threats to law and order always lurking,  and the urge to maximize power a fact of human existence.  That said one should just be happy with those who just don’t espouse outright oligarchy or gangsterism…… which is a tough bargain when seeking the heart of hearts of our players and schemers.

There is no there there to incentify a politico to stand for a system that, built in, respects the ideas of rational political markets, free political markets, non fixed or slanted, faked, or baked political markets….. heavenly dear political markets.

Backing and  passion for those who seek the role of holier than though, disciplinarian and self righteous buffoon, firm and fair reformer with a flair, sure to be naive practicing cynic is left to those with no vested interest in political outcomes and the competing interest making for dynamic policy.   What possible push is a push too far?  What possible war is a war to childish?  What possible world view is an acceptable world view?  The he’s or she’s who love to skin ripe enemies get our ultimate respect.  Love the muggers.

Hate the damned hippies.  Turn up your nose as the insipid tea baggers.  The rot gut whiskey of allowable detesting is always alive and well and always fun and cathartic.

Hate the cloven heeled liberals.  Detest the iron bottomed true believers and mellow ideologues.  Harangue the walls with mellow tones of vitriol and hate.

The devils we love give us the sideshows we crave.  What good is a rumble if it can’t be seen in glorious color and mighty second rate narratives.  What good is tomorrow if we can have at the seeds of the future today?  What good is yesterday if it can’t give us causes to moon over and despicable vile louts to blame for sin?

It feels damned good to ride out the crests of smart assed divinity.  It feels damned good to be the killers of purpose and the receptacles for inanity.  Call out all impenetrable fools who stand for the fiery ends of civilization as we love it.  Cede power to the tame, lame and clueless.  Messages are for messengers and messengers are rat’s assed annoying.

Kill the tinkers and the thinkers, the fusers and the bated.  The royal closets mind the rules for heavens and earth.  The royal wings of vengeful royal scum wait patiently in the wings.

Beware of false springs, love of false springs, love of reactions to false springs, the cynical lot of soulless cookies being left the rage to play out the ends of discourse and rigorous thought, opinion.

Dead dirty easy thought playing to dead dirty easy minds always drives out the good, the honorable, the open.  Easier to bake, easier to make, easier to package, easier to sell, easier to jam down someones throat.
