Slippery slopes don’t cut both ways

It’s a damned slippery slope , it is. Give a little on this. Give a little on that and pretty soon all of your godly good rights are taken away and all of the guns in gun heaven waiting to find a home will not get a mother or a father. It is evil that we do. A slippery slope to slippery evil.

But hark. We have the slope protectors to the rescue. The merry bands of faith healers and slope watchers scour the universe for the best ways to combat the slippin’ and the sliden’ and the mojo waisten’ and the deference giving so that all good bullets find their marks and all good sleds be taken out and burned.

Power comes to the watchers. The power of right and good. The power of forcing mere mortals to knuckle under to thine will. Not for mere mortals, thence, no slippery slope there. Power is already gone with the wind to the takers and the makers.

Interns intern for the thrill of it all.

Corporate productivity is up, up, up.

Corporate profits sit and accumulate dust …. left over from the dust that is eaten by the mean wage earner.

Them that gots shall have.

Them that gots shall dictate every little bit of behavior for prospective wage slaves and current drones.

Them that gots shall threaten any and all in tough times with tough measures.

Them that gots shall maximize survival and ensure competitiveness and make sure that they are beholden not to labor or skills or any and any push back from bodies for sale.

Business models work when human capital is cheap not dear.

Human capital best be able to have leverage or sink.

Why pay anybody anything?

Pay only when there is no other option.

Profit, money, life comes from leverage.

When the tail wags the dog the dog needs be a weak kneed dog who thinks that the wagging is an act of god given to him for his unknown pleasure.

Used to be that dumb and dumber could be seen as an economic or social stigma isolating the dumb and dumber in their dumb and dumber cages making such cages fit for the ruling carcasses and those with the sharpest teeth.

Used to be that dumb and dumber were the proud bearers and owners of the good times rolls in the hay with the cross sections of cousins and fauna and multiple means of gentrified inbreeding.

Used to be that there was fear that they could be seen for that which they were by the crass heathens whose money they needed and whose tolerance they courted when stepping out of class.

Used to be that the badge of honor that went with dumb and dumber was a hard sell.

There are only real problems in this, our America dear around election time and the TV sweeps months. Absent that the world is right, the haves are in their homes, the wonks are sweetly wonking, the brokers are sweetly broking.

The thinkers are randomly applying obscure mathematical formulai to the acts of false governance and the world is a safe den of illiquid emulsifier sanitizing the ups and downs of vague society.

The dancers frolic and play and skip and twirl and do their swirls to peace to the rhythms of the clapping crowd. Passion devil dances rue the day the stage of nothingness was not the way to the pay.

To show feathers and gain peeks. The simple sunshine of high dudgeon leaves one immune to the happy narratives of a public domain. The light of the night from above of the golden cascading mists of the art work of the sincere fill sincerity and reality. Ahhhh, the bubbling waterfall.
