Ahhh. the pundits. The politicians. Noble warriors for freedom and drek. They want to win. They want to defeat the evil enemy. They want to rule the roost of many with the aims of the few …. their sainted few. Democracy is for gaining rule by whatever means the system allows. It is not about coalitions, minority opinions, taking opposing positions as valid or of worth or worth honoring to any degree… living and let living.
Democracy is such a timid, limped system of government. Where can the real rebel rouser, king makers, authoritarian personalities go for fun and games in such a putrid system of checks and balances. Pity the poor poor strong man, heaven sent man, godly primed woman, spawns of a more attractive devil.
The eternal chase and love of life and real meaningful self fulfillment demand a stage of staggering proportions. Each and every little two bit two bit demands a little corner of our collective hell to call his own little fiefdom of moral outrage and absolute rule.
Governing is a boorish thing. Our heroes are made of sterner stuff. Eyes always on the prize. Eyes always on the kill.

Unions are wonderful. Except that they are pigs. So says the red white and blue. So says the victims of their pig-hood. All power players overplay their hands. Except when they don’t. All power players take too much trust for granted and they lose it when they can’t enforce it. Except they can enforce it. Sell the good. The good ideas of primrose and propaganda. Address the fears. Always play to the many many happy little fears. Don’t push one rotten master for another. Keep the one you love … self and self. The losers need a good power base … not a jack boot. Never gonna happen.
Selfish is as selfish does. Buying stability with rational fairness is a hard sell for those who see no benefits to themselves or their own by helping bastards who can’t help themselves and who don’t have the goods to blackmail the populous. Blackmail with no jobs or jobs on their terms …. a happy equation that the free independent American seems overjoyed to accept. The caste system is a valuable thing.
The key is the protection from the underclass or the forces of the underclass. The key is to create a stable brain dead underclass with not enough time or food to think or function. Weapons are good for that. Economic power is a god send.
The underclass is the dangerous class. But we need more. In the proper caste system the underclass is under the heel. This takes thought and work and songs and stories and no spins ‘cept for the spin they’re in. Propaganda and false premise spewed by aggressive louts plays well.
No out for the useless. Only an expanse of the club. Tis important they serve, give up their bodies, their thoughts, their labor, thank their lords and masters for the chances given for survival and ass licking. With great power wealth and power and wealth come them who want the caste system stuck and set. Few give that up easily. Its also good to get a private army of gun slingers to do your dirty.
Labor may come and go as a sop to circumstance. Power flows in the directions it is sent. Starvation and deprivation are easy. Others in the world do it.
