There is always another poor desperate sucker out there to take less just to survive.

Its out. Among the fact that the rich rich are perfect and the only ones capable of advancing in the from God unrigged and holy, mostly good, saintly capitalist system of ours ….. the one that comes from specifically from the lord God unbridled and with the full consent of its losers…. labor is cheap because of the competition ….. there is always another poor desperate sucker out there to take less just to survive.

Unions are organized labor …. the competition of the peasants becomes then negotiations with organized concerns rather then just the picking from the mother load of peasants there for the use as seen fit.

Once an organized concern …. unions, can, of course, be as corrupt as the bums they’re fighting …. but then it is a corruption of semi equals …… one that frays around the edges, makes everyone hate everyone, makes one set of goons go after the other set … but at least holds off monopoly of either capital or labor.

“The state rests upon the acquiescence of the poor.” Capitalism as a system does as well. When the numbers make too many losers unhappy capitalism need only go to thugs and private police, police of the state to keep it pure. The n numbers game is a tricky one. Sustainability, not auras from God make the world go round.
