It must be because evil communists and therefor like minded socialists were our latest and greatest eternal and existential foe or because the fascists and statists were just those funny little killers and murderers and fiends who were rancid monsters in the glory days of pre history but any and all upon the left side of the political spectrum can be demonized and censured and hated and scorned and be put on the righteous defensive by any and all allusions to the grand devils of Stalinland while the holy right side of the spectrum can never be linked to the extreme natures of their beings … the eternal monstrous fascists impulses and states of grand self serving grace.

Allusions to the extremes work well for all base alluders and rank fear mongers but the allusions to any poor righteous bastards who are in over their heads and conscience  are passed over as unworkable, untoward, and measly and mealy mouthed.

No primal latent streak of accommodating warmth for the efficiencies of the good dictator or efficient fascist state could ever prevents traction from being gotten by foolish comparison or observation.  High umbrage,  crying self righteousness and victimhood comes tearfully from those labeled so.  … they have the immunity of the strong while their opposites have the weaknesses of the weak.

Rank bastards are rank bastards no matter the stripe or color….. no matter the evil or the spewing exaggerations …. but there may be a secret tender heart lurking here for certain kinds of rank bastards …. toughness is good.

All public discussions come hat in hand with the gross perspectives of dancing maypole fairies loping around the serendipitous maypoles of hard candy swathed in base acidic rot.

The joy and honor and schemy little perspectives of small and shrunken motived panderers and culture  destroyers holds them up as the merry rakes of the proactive salacious and the sales folk of high moral rectitude and abundant moral character.  There is the practiced view of deep thinkers and tinkerers and of those who measure their words carefully as to not spew out the worst of language and idea reflecting pygmy provocateurs.

The daily grind for the daily battles for the daily hearts and minds of the daily dead who try to find solace and direction from the holy heathens of mouthy spews and political talk, sincere policy, intrigue and jest is a grind made for the nimble on the eternal circle wheels and treadmills loved so by those who’s ever wishes are to chase their tales and their fancies until they are able to catch up with the vast illusory acid that is offered.

This is the chase of those bred to it.  It is the life of those worth being.

So, yes, government is a balance of powers ….. get on a bandwagon strong enough to garnish turf and push it to the max.  Go for power….seek power…..ram power down the throat of opposition.

So, yes, the only defense against a charging offense is a raging bit of counter force using all know vehicles and tools, al known tactics and bits of moving along or regulating force.

Stuck with democracy…. be inventive ….. game the game in ways that are viable.   Stuck with opposition ….. make it toothless …cut off its access to funding, votes, power, relevance.

Stuck with with achievers …cut them off at the knees and nullify their being.

Nullify the existence of the gross.  Spit upon the challenges of the haughty.  Kick the mad actors of ruin my day in the bad parts of their ugly anatomy.

The drive to power is all that matters.  Sham systems are made, gamed, used or abused.  Hollow hunks of past glories are hollow hunks of past glories.  Calling a democracy a democracy is calling a chimera a chimera…… in the ways of our world.

Power is a nice piece of aphrodisiac however.  Makes them all hot and bothered.

One day the race to the bottom will be over and and will itself bottom out and will be so old and so hackneyed and so useless and so rancid that even those with proclivities to not be able to live anywhere but in the lovely muck and the glorious ruins will have no home to pray to that gets the constant rejuvenation of the retched  swamps and fetid pools of smiling waste that grace our perfumed air today.

The happy bottom is here open and inviting, the wrapped up country sleazy to get at and wonderful to see, play in.  There are no hindrances here.  There are no gates, no detours.  There are only spiffy highways and byways for fun and freedom.  All idiots have loud megaphones, have loud invectives, loud incentives to push for the lame and the halt.  The shower, the show, the principle, the vitriol……. the feckless competition for effort and will, wager and spit, war and remembrance goes on…. and on …and on.

There are rewards here.  There are no rewards for staying away.  There is  audience here ….. no constituency in staying away.  There is no circus of hate and immaturity in other places, other venues.  Bad is always good here and good is weak and strength and force and power are all and the rush of the rush to hell is a hard weapon to counter.

The canny, the cynical. the rotten, the slow love intimidation and to bully and to make and use the whip hand….. It will get old when it does.  Don’t wait to long.

The false battles of holy labels

Ah, the usual screed about the paucity of intellectual honesty and judicious thought when it comes to trampling down the honor and virtue of hard core believers and political holy warriors.

The grand celebrated spectrum running the gamut from right to left and up and down and back again……  grand screams of deliberation and virtue on the part of the emotionally informed.

Be stark.  Be humble.  Be wise.  Be sure that the marauding hordes of welshers and free basers want your money, your toil, your all and everything.

Be of the right.  Be of the left.

Be sure that the simple flag wavers and noxious spirits of toxic hate want to bury the unprotected under glams of derision and disenfranchisement.

Be of those wise enough to not miss the enemies at the gate.

The pristine rights of the individual.  The pristine rights of the mass, the  society as whole.  Protection for one.  Protection for the other.  Protection from one.  Protection from the other.  Be of the winners.  Be of the losers.  Be of the dupes.  Be of the he users.  Be of the takers.  The healers.  The fakers. The killers.  Be of the makers.  The breakers.  The sour mooded payers.

It is good to have the return of the grand salutary hypocritical gamesmanship of the vast angry, overheated and certainly other deviled bit of business aptly called the culture wars… long on snide, happy on self serving ….. a bit short on anything resembling culture.

A vast chance for a no penalty way for all of the true believers and holy redeemers, smug snivelers and wretched self promoters, hapless dreamers and imitation thinkers to play in the sandboxes of spiteful intoxication and homey victimization.  Proud they be the standard bearers for flags of morbidity and excess, shame and hubris, greasiness and dirt.  The world is solace for the slavish.

Bearing and cheering, hearing and bleating, preening and stalking, tendency and ridicule; the flotsam and jetsam of meager egos thrill at the chance at the inhalation of all manner of cheap shots, liquid and other, all manners of no understanding and the line ups to throw parties for smug and pitiful.  Ahh, the eternal wastes of the breaths of life.

It sells, the belief that anyone unhappy with disparity of power and / or wealth is a communist loony.

It sells that anyone who does not feel that unleashed private enterprise will have any other agenda than to shape policies and profits for their own best interests as they streamline business and push those at their mercy to the bottom.

It sells this divine trust in those with power and this divine trust that those with power are the only living souls of virtue in a world of drones, incompetents, freeloaders and leftist culture thieves.

It sells that markets are not rigged and that the nation is an economic system unto itself and that non national options are not part of any economic equation.

It sells that we are the economic masters of our own fate and that no private economic concerns have little to fear from or heed to the nation state that is us.

All of this sells.

The dream of rugged individualism sells as if we were in a wilderness of hidden plenty just waiting for the strength to work and sweat to fetch it.

It sells that this is what we are, true self reliant pioneers unfettered by traps set up tp make us dependent, broke, broken, useless and in our place.  All of this sells because the sizzle always sells and the better the sizzle the tougher the steak.
