There are never any real organizing principles in sainted public policy.  There are plenty of nice 8 x 10 glossies that look nice and sound good and give the talkers something to shout about when they move their lips and strain their excuses for a rational mind.  In the end though all is sheer advertising, sheer sloganeering, sheer posturing, agenda setting and sheer playing to the low level fruit.

Honest agenda setting requires an honest notation of honest problems and an honest will to get an honest solution that will work in a non dream environment in a non dream world.  Achieve “A”, please, please,damn it.  Damn well get “A” done, please, please, damn it.  Damn well master the damned forces to get “A” done, please, please, damn it.  How damned far can we push?  How damned smart can we be? Who the hell do we have to rush and run over?

Right makes might when right exists.  Might makes right when fools talk.  The rest is just charade.
