So now that you vote for the smart alternatitive guaranteed to make bad disappear and to make enlightened democracy the order of the day …. We all feel better and know that we had the choice to build a better society peopled by more better thinkers and saps.

The fire and ice will be done and the descent into the dregs of human endeavor will continue.

Heroes will not emerge.

Guts will not show themselves.

Character and deliberation will continue to be frowned upon.

False issues built on false premise will continue to suck up all available air.

Ignorant dolts will seize upon discord and unease as they have always done to wrather the rabble and look for good avenues of hate and prime paths to power and the whip hand.

Civilization and its discontents will be left to hand wringers and yelpers with no fight and the world will be made safe for more and more stools and tools and fools.

Outside of the freedom to be a limited tool of power brokers as opposed to one pushed just short of the subsistence levels that push encumbered masses to the streets what are the voting requisites for the great unwashed?

Are we voting for access to power? Are we voting for the knowledge of what possibly to do with power? Are we voting for freedom from dead brain cell disease? Or are we voting for the the emptiness of false premise, promise, pride?

The government will either steal you blind or throw away or give away your money. The private sector will either make you wage slaves or use you as fodder to prop up their egalitarian dreams. Profits are for profits. Where they don’t go others will. Jobs are the necessary evil. Private enterprise the necessary driver of civilization. All great things are built on mountains of stink holes.

Stink holes need tilling. They smell a hell of a lot worse when the whole thing rots from thew bottom.

War and peace: Canon fodder and cheap labor. The business of state.

The bum’s rush and the sands of time. The smoked sausage of false premise.

The right to vote. A nice pastoral picture.

The will of the people. To love the world they’re in.

At least if the crazies win and take over the country and celebrate the joys of idiocy and anti intellectualism to their dear little hearts content we are all spared the worst of all possible worlds.

In the epiphanous work of Plato and in the political theory of the ages democracy is the best of governments as when corrupted it is the least bad with the least amount of decrepit souls getting the short end of the stick and the most amount of decrepit souls getting to be plaster saints and weak kneed demigods.

The creeping disorder of death by inbred brain cells can always be a bi-product of the rants and raves and hates of those who know the best way to a forearm shiv. The splendid gregarious harmony brought to bear by the mournful wallowing in the the tall grasses of success may lead the hammering winners to lop off heads and drown babies but it protects the right of the majority to gladly define morality and good grace. The greatest good for the greatest number.

Degrees of sophistication are meaningless baubles put out by pedantics who have no respect for common wisdom. The joys of being as dumb as they come.

So all the voting machines are fixed with no chance to verify.

So all the party votes are fixed by the rubber stamp heroes with pristine souls to nullify. They will not buck their masters.

So all of the choices given the public amount to what color to terrify, what color the living room walls should be to establish a nice atmosphere, pleasant surroundings, good show and still leave the mortgage held by the whip hands who use the cracks in the foundation to offer good old protection rackets to that foundation rancid and dull.
