Ain’t no money staring down the flywings in the political spectrum. Ain’t no money staring down the lack of class, the lack of ways and means, the lack of grownups in motion. Ain’t no money staring down the snake filled agendas, the fairy tales of governance being the art of the possible.

Ain’t no money in refleecing cold hard fact and dispassionate work. Ain’t no money in reslapping the face of the eternal yappers and listening to them cry foul. Ain’t no money in saying screw you and sneering.

We are all smart enough to know our own minds, gather our own facts, grow our own crop of detestable rag weed and fend for our brilliant selves when it comes to charting courses, developing world views, vesting political actors, applying treasonous acts to the devils we know.

All news and views are social news and views. Story gets disseminated as prom queen. Idea gets disseminated as advertising subliminal or base, with nascent propaganda or sham fits of the use of blunt instruments. Subjects get catered to as fits interest by the uninteresting uninterested. The crap shoot, the social whirl…the vast flattening out and deriching of the breads of word and leeches along and prays to empty and without substance or soul.

Those with critical eye and learned posture are anachronisms of a corrupted elitist past, one that pruned information and knowledge away from the firm trees of gossip, rumor corrupted story, rigorous thought as mystery and gave it to self styled Brahmans who deigned to know something and see the flaws of banality.

The gate keepers today have no gates. The wise today have nothing to be wise about, have no forum or venue that can sell tickets. The interested have no constituency. The interesting, the dispassionate are to be hanged as apostates.

In the lands of the vapidness and the vacant, the lands of sin and heaven, of orthodoxy and lock boxes for thought the where to be and where to see is with the all mighty devil….the chancellor of hate.

Pick a subject…any subject. Listen to them moan and groan. Listen to them will and wallow, sink low and spit high. Listen to the mad harpies of independent thought everywhere speak in mystic tongues and incoherent dictums.

If it were possible to stand up and flash eerie post hypnotic signs and psychic suggestions rather than speak words not of true fiber or thoughts then the Saturday matinee entertainment available only these days would not be simpering broadly drawn eternal serials offered our good guys being good…our bad guys being evil.

No sucker or talk, pallor or pall bearer writes the dime novel whenever he speaks, whenever he thinks as long as he does neither. The audience wishes release, torture, cliff hanger, black hat, strumming cowboys, white hats, fair maidens, upright heroes, damned evil.

The good writers write the good stuff. The good interviewers sift with sifters of no mesh. The good label makers get more inventory made with love by scalded hearts.

Pick a subject…. any subject. Hell is for the taking. Pick a subject … any subject. Free rides to nirvana are the goods to sell.

Cash keeps coming . Scripts keep unfolding. The genre is evergreen. Entertainment is paramount. Creativity gains style points. Venal harps in play always and jack whacked mouths good for dirt. Things on the bottom of muck boots are souls.

Truth is truth. Humble is humble. The American people are smart enough to be discerning and aware enough not to be fooled….. so say the backers of lying, deceit, treachery, debasement. They believe in that which they say.

Thanksgiving squared.

Now that everyone has said their thanks and come clean about their purity it is in the best interests of peace, joy and contentment to render unto the ghosts of holidays past their due and to sprout the wings of angels and protect the poor wretched flock from the sinful baying heathen scavengers.

The poor, poor innocuous wanderers and travelers, worshipers and faith healers, true believers and salt of the earth workers, strivers, job creators, messianic are all in the vast Thanksgiving melting pot being slow cooked over lazy fires as the world turns and the crops burn and the crows fly and the stew generates only heat and light.

The melting pot that is the pride and joy of overblown mouthpieces and facetious princes creates a meal fit for kings and a confection looked upon as waste by those who do not go to soup kitchens and charity functions.

It is better meat that stirs the pulse and rams the hearts of those who can truly give thanks. It is the sanctity of their thoughts, the purity of their virtues, the wholeness of their inclusiveness that marks them good. The oligarchy of spirit is a gift given to those who kneel in thanks….. it is the season for them and their passions. Oligarchy is good.

Celebrate the season with the best of the commodities upon the market, the landscape. Love, peace and joy. Treacly Christmas cards from spouting hypocrites. The loud givings of thanks for empty bounty from pressing souls seeking redemption.

Public ether promotes diversion, division, want, anger, celebration, warring camps. posh factions, fetching confusion, hapless disarray, homey hopelessness, lovable provocateurs waiting to step up and in with tough.

Government useless and worthless and all pretty little power goes on its merry way to happy little lands of happy little misty magicians and warrior kings.

Government useless and worthless and all that pretty little power goes on its merry way to the heavens of the strong, the moral suckers and closers fighting indifference and leveraging all of the dark forces of control over movement, thought, survival, wealth, access to wealth, access to food, access to mobility, clothing, shelter, time. life, waking up in the morning. Pretty little power goes its merry little way and fiery little swords slash away at the dirty fowl little underbrush that are the ones giving thanks. Ain’t nowhere else to go but the dirtier stages of hell.

Disdain, diminishment, disenfranchisement, annulment; no little rights to external identity; happy little voiding of internal identity; souls given over to the trips on the river Styx, to the voyages of no place else to go.

Survival of body, absence of mind. In the end the no there there is us. The no there there is home. At which point do the floors upon which we stand give way and the bases upon which we survive and identify disappear.

So we have the fight for the soul of the American public. We have those lacking compassion. We have those awash with it. We have those understanding the trials and conflicts of production and those who appreciate not the efforts of innovation, management, survival. We have those who see the old evils of unbridled laissez – faire capitalism and those who do not. It is always the old conflicts. What does capitalism owe to labor….what does labor owe to capitalism? Is labor an endless pool to be eternally abused as an endless glut on the market? Is capital an endless evil trying to navigate the bitter fields of production, efficiency, competition, vulnerabilities in markets and systems?

The age old fight between the individual and the collective……the fodder of the collective versus the soul of the individual. Where today is the the acceptable line drawn? Do we not factor in the line at all? Stifle the human spirit and the society is dead. Stifle the living prospects of the general populace and the society is rancid. Capital creates capital….that is its purpose……all other grand benefits are off shoots not aims. Labor creates survival……too much a drag on production and nimbleness can kill the goose….Disrespect for either of the two, the fat cats, the greedy parasites and ugly is the world.

The many mealy mouthed babblers, cons, charlatans, fools and worthless scoundrels wrapping themselves in the flag that is the last refuge of scoundrels all claim to speak for the American public when the American public can’t even speak for itself. We don’t know what the hell we stand for……we’re too damned put upon, intimidated used, abused, manipulated and sapped to care. A soul requires soul searching. Soul searching requires contemplation, thought, quiet. Quiet requires that the whole damned political world shut up.
