Genuine martyrdom, abject screeching and tantrumizing scream out against the sage efforts of the lone riders of swift justice as they try to lasso up and hog tie the unvirtuous rams and pig sty dwelling drunks.

All such celebrated spouters have long,strong constituencies hiding under and behind rocks and in bat caves and barren hills ready for stern ambush or justifiable massacre.

No lone wangler or intrepid night rider can flair up against the forces of triumph, institutionally, constitutionally, mad drooling vaingloriously droll, sneering protected masked men and their evil assaults upon all us pure noble settlers looking for genial political landscapes of milk and honey.

Why bother to solve the heralded all encompassing and factually ruthless imperial budget crises when said crises is not there to be solved? Nothing more than a sloppy pinata draped upon the homespun party thrown by all the boys and girls drunk for the action… having irrepressible jags for the action…..placating and simmering with cold flames for the action. Good solid meaningful action that can be used to whip up blood enemies and thrill the the stokers of lust and need.

False stories, chimeras narratives, empty hopes, vacant dreams, passing images, unanswerable questions, answers from the river Styx, hapless charades….. red blooded players with red blooded skin in the games care about red blood, bloody gain, the bloody heels on the throats of bloody hated traitors. Pick an issue… pry out an issue….play fast and loose with an issue….lusty battles, vestal images, merry onlookers all but cover for lame, power hungry bastards.

The go getters want to go and get. The go getters want to camp in the camping grounds of those who’ve gone and got. They want to charge up the hills of glory and reflected glory and throw their lots in with the canny and wise, the achievers, doers, job creators, wealth creators….. the hard working salt of the earth types who roll up their sleeves and build better worlds and make society a growing vibrant place…..That is what they wish to do. A growing vibrant place is what they want.

The lazy idle and irredeemably intellectual snobbish wish to see the wealth of nations squandered on the lame and the halt and they wish to see the drive for innovation, creativity, risk, action, drama sucked out of everyday life so that all that is left are passionless drones who are the broad bland degenerate useless.

Those who seek redress of problems and bad ways know that they can petition a stagnant government only far too happy to answers to the needs of the afflicted and uncomfortable….that is what governments do…. that is what they are for.

Those wishing honest ascension to the places open to the making their mark, the doing of their wants, the breaking their enemies know that government is the enclave of those who support it, own it, pay for it, structure it, and that the good support of power should yield either the rewards of help or the rewards of no hindrance.

All of our power seekers let go and let alone know where and when to stop, know where and when to pull back and not conquer or break, know whom to hurt, whom not to hurt, whom to care nothing about. What collection of diddling fools need interest groups to speak truth to power, to speak muscle to power unchained, to intimidate the intimidators….the put upon care not who their masters are…. the bells and banjos of political and economic practice, discourse, fodder, talk, philosophy mean a mother load of nothing if the only thing able to be trusted is that whichever bastards gain the upper hand…they are the bastards that will screw you.

Respect for power. Respect for checks on power. Respect for survival of the fit. Respect for being brothers keeper….its so damned complicated. Better to just screw the one your with.

It sells, the belief that anyone unhappy with disparity of power and / or wealth is a communist loony.

It sells that anyone who does not feel that unleashed private enterprise will have any other agenda than to shape policies and profits for their own best interests as they streamline business and push those at their mercy to the bottom.

It sells this divine trust in those with power and this divine trust that those with power are the only living souls of virtue in a world of drones, incompetents, freeloaders and leftist culture thieves.

It sells that markets are not rigged and that the nation is an economic system unto itself and that non national options are not part of any economic equation.

It sells that we are the economic masters of our own fate and that no private economic concerns have little to fear from or heed to the nation state that is us.

All of this sells.

The dream of rugged individualism sells as if we were in a wilderness of hidden plenty just waiting for the strength to work and sweat to fetch it.

It sells that this is what we are, true self reliant pioneers unfettered by traps set up tp make us dependent, broke, broken, useless and in our place. All of this sells because the sizzle always sells and the better the sizzle the tougher the steak.

I go often through the parts of some cities that are not as economically viable as others . I see people, children, faces. I see workers, strollers, commuters…city life. It is what it is and my elucidation adds nothing to the pictures extant in the public mind.

For the sake of argument I will take the extreme position that not all of whom I see are ones who deserve the fate of not living more better and that not all uf whom I see deserve the fate of the free sanding scorn heaped upon those not able enough to contribute to the coffers of those who despise the under classes…… the drag on the system of growth and sustainability that they are. Were it not for the fact that they contribute canon fodder for warfare they would serve no purpose what so ever.

Those who look but do not see are dumb enough. Those who see the scripts only manufactured for them by the charming demons of their natures are worse yet.

Class warfare is a foolish term when knowledge dictates classes should be fixed and that classes wishing something elas are pretenders and disrupters.

It is about power structure, stupid, Power, freedom of movement and discourse for those who wish it, have it, own it, manipulate it. They follow the laws of human nature as we know it and we allow them to maximize their proclivities…….anything that lessens access to wealth, power, control is un American and the America they have sold those who have sold their souls for a false image of belonging to their fraternity….the willing pawns of the dumb set enjoy sharing the same villains. That is their pay off. The reflected glory of the clinched fist.

Everyone hate the government and those who govern. All would send them packing and then pick a new set of stooges to sing and dance for fun and amusement. And these songs would be better. These dances would be flashier. These folk would be more responsive and more deeply in tune with the democratic governing principles of our hallowed land. And all would be happy. And all would be thrilled. And all would have the experience of political ecstasy for the new bums in place would not be the problem and the long line of cookie cutter followers they represent would just take the place of those who had gone before.

What in Gods name makes anyone think that a different mix of cow can come to fore and chew any differently, blankly stare any differently, give the world an excess of methane gas in any different manner. What gets taken seriously gets taken seriously. What sells sells. What seduces seduces. What bludgeons bludgeons. Hallowed points made by stars luminescent are what there is. Excuses for statesmen, stateswomen are the mold of what the stork wants, what the pretty boys and pretty girls want, what the bats in the belfry want. What seduces seduces, what makes all little hearts flutter over and over again makes all little hearts flutter over and over again. The sun don’t shine in any different places than it did before. The rain still gropes the land

Back in the beginning, after the days of 9/11, when there was threat in the air, danger in the air, uncertainty in the air, moral clarity in the air, unity of conviction, unity of hope, unity of purpose, pride in a nation of solid footing, moral standards, tattered regrets….there was a glimpse of a glowing dawn.

A longing wish for a world of rational, fine actors looking to establish the hopes and dreams of coordinated right and coordinated might for right; a longing wish for a world of pristine hearts of honor going off to challenge the ravages of hell induced souls who delved all to deeply in meals of distortion and hate…..dreams, envies, wishes of false atonement. It was the call to vanquish the rancid self mocking words and deeds, self lathering wretched fantasies covered with hardened ignorance and the fervors of those who have nothing save the capacity for fervor to expand upon.

There was then a time, a moment, an instant when the world turned, when there was in that world an opening for the better natures of our spirits, when there was in that world an opening for the truths of our hearts, our nobility, our fierce sense of our mythic selves, the fierce prides built into the fabrics of our character, the sacrifices, sweats, toils, dreams, judgements of those who lived once to do the good and the right.

There was then a time, a moment, an instant when all was possible going forward, all was willing to be sacrificed, all were willing to be asked tough things going forward. There was a then a time when the stars were aligned by craven accident and true national character cried out to be in play, to be shown the flag, to be shown the meanings of creating worlds free from regressions, scavenging, craving, coveting, callous, insignificant, humorless, self righteous damning souls.

There was that moment.

There was moderation in the worlds that spawned our attackers. There was adulation and appreciation for our land that still stood for the greatest aspirations that men and women could stand for. There was a rallying for the right to make evil an unattractive entry, a entity that could not forever stand support from its self interested backers. There was that…all that.

Great nations, great peoples seize the moment, seize the initiative, seize the chance, the gifts the fickle gods can bestow.

Great nations, great peoples are not supposed to fail.

Economic policy is the much debatable rancid football of our times. Do we want heaven on earth for our beleaguered country? Do we want a garden of Eden with life good and cares small? Do we want the fruits of honest labor to bear fruits of sustainable labor?

Is there access to material, innovation, coordination, distribution, efficiency in markets….all the base underlying needs of wealth and plenty? If there is plenty to be had then the problem is in how best to access it. If there is not, then the problem is in how best to find or create it…plenty.

Inefficient systems or insufficient bounties open themselves up to battles over who has access to the ultimate controls of goods and services, force and law, mobility, dictates of behavior, access to survival. Abundant economies make the jockeying for such power verily a spectator sport with most happy enough to let those in the arena game out their fiefdoms as long as they leave paths of survival for the rest of the worker ants. In tight times those who have fiefdoms wish only to protect them and keep them…wish only to keep the hordes from the gates, force on their side. Policy is smoke. Policy is mirrors. Policy is tactic and strategy for establishing order, hierarchy, reigns of power, access to the never ending more.

Systems are power based, power centric, power diffused. Power hungry bastards with power use many tricks to work their ways forward. Weak sisters and savants dream the dream of being cultural icons and philosopher despots as they bring force to startling rhapsodies of ideological purities. In the end it is about gaining control of a system shaped and molded by forces at your beck and call. The interests of the rabble can always be used to seduce and undermine when they are sold a rancid dream and forced down a path where they end up with no say but to find scapegoats for their false dreams gone awry and astray…and hearty thank yous and ass kissing to their patient masters.
