Dominance Games: Organizing principles

There are never any real organizing principles in sainted public policy.  There are plenty of nice 8 x 10 glossies that look nice and sound good and give the talkers something to shout about when they move their lips and strain their excuses for a rational mind.  In the end though all is sheer advertising, sheer sloganeering, sheer posturing, agenda setting and sheer playing to the low level fruit.

Honest agenda setting requires an honest notation of honest problems and an honest will to get an honest solution that will work in a non dream environment in a non dream world.  Achieve “A”, please, please,damn it.  Damn well get “A” done, please, please, damn it.  Damn well master the damned forces to get “A” done, please, please, damn it.  How damned far can we push?  How damned smart can we be? Who the hell do we have to rush and run over?

Right makes might when right exists.  Might makes right when fools talk.  The rest is just charade.

What happens when someone or something is inopportune enough and crass enough to show all of the little children that their happy little games are not the real live little adolescent fancies that they love so much… that their over abundant sensual highs gathered from the mental onanism that keeps them going are not only things that matter in the passing parade?  What happens when stupid self absorption and lives lived in walled off fantasy lands are not just the hyped up video games for restless wimps of  arrested development that makes their politics worth while?

What happens when hell freezes over and the sky falls and the games just wont work? There is no other life…there is no other love…all else is a nasty illusion put forth by bastions of faded wasted dissipated hacks who think.  A dirty world out there to ruin games and show them up.  Commie bastards and thinkers.  Weak crybaby bleeding hearts.  Stupid matters.  Not this other stuff.

Burn down the reality people.  Thy take all the fun out of the lives of the small minded and ill willed.

Dominance Games: Too damned bad

So they play to the base to win primaries in districts that are skewed to the base to begin with.  So they play to the hatred of the opposition in districts are are skewed to the hatred of the opposition in the first place.  So they have to defend themselves from the red meat haters who are the ones that can get them if they are not pure enough and they sell their souls, if they have any, to the dictates of their political church…..What a guy…what a girl.

So they live to have enemies and they live to be holy rollers.  So they live to be the truth brigade with truth dictated by the conveniences of orientation and fiery zeal.  So they live to be the standard bearers for lame talking points and dip loaded political sloganeering.  So they can’t speak or act without passing through the clearing house of pure agenda and they sell it whole to the great haters who scream the loudest, think the least.  So they found the new template for government and power and they have found no other incentive to shape their behaviors.  So they do what they do.  They spew obnoxious obnoxiousness and they turn governing into children’s play.

Want things to be different?  Cry me a river.  Let the system stay gamed.  Let anyone of reason refuse to pick any candidates of reason.  Let anyone of reason have any choices other that tweedle dee and tweedle dumb and you gots what you got…you gets what you get….you takes what you take …and you cry in your moldy beer.  Too damned bad.

So the idea is to tell the poor suckers who have no work, have no money, have no hope, have no future, have no protections other than those given by the hard edged hard line free market bores who say that business unfettered is business and that business unfettered has no other interests that a productive society and that business unfettered will always be efficient providers of goods and services and that there will never be downward pressures to cut labor costs or labor usage and that a free hand brings no risk.

Business efficient is business good…but efficient is what the great monopolists were…..for their purposes…..nothing bur efficient…

That all said and thrown out…..there is always the promise that if the poor and put upon suffer more today then the markets will always rescue them in the great white tomorrow..

There is always the premise that the poor and put upon must suffer…never the espousers of the grand theories of economic social Darwinism….often practiced by those who reject Darwinism outright..

Keep it up…wait a while…turn on the needy…at what point do they have nothing left to lose and say to hell with it…from where the hell sprang communism in the first place…

It always amazes that the grand schemers think that the ones they attack will always take it and just slink back under their rock…

Perception turns hopes…. the perceptions of the perceived ideals of The New Deal blunted the urges  and surges of harmful left leaning reactions to harmful right leaning self satisfaction…

Capitalism works only so long as its losers buy into it…or what for them is the damned purpose…Then as always might make right.

Public images and public brands can easily become inverted.  Faux noble souls exercising free will and petrified manner easily choose against their own self interests.  Perceptions are easily weak.  Premises are easily false.  Logical constructs are easily frayed and superfluous.  Brought to the table of meager existence is a predisposition towards abject dimness and poverty of mind.  Seen are the heavens on earth offered in their anguish as they self identify as rational souls, outlying outlaws, searing revolutionaries,  defenders of the faith, persons of sound judgment and cool reason.

Thought is sold.  It is not bought.  Freedom of thought is sold.  It is not bought.  Economic self interest is passed around and given away.  It is laughed away and made to look foolish.  Cloudy images of a sane and tolerant world are floated up and about by those knowing these endpoint of human endeavor are massively comical and hopelessly ironic.  Reason and virtue amongst the daily thugs of public discourse is a thing of useful derision.   Reason and virtue amongst those who stand tall and straight are invitations to broken heads and little sustenance, to  those who foam at the mouth and love the red meat of swollen enemies.

The obtuse and the inbred know nothing save the next meal.  The sweet tastes of sweet tastes trump always the soothing health foods of good doctors.  The wretched can never simply see what is to be seen.  The wretched can never simply experience what is there to be experienced, what is there bigger than a breadbox.

Enemies mine those who will not see.  Enemies mine those who will not hear.  Enemies mine those who live the cheap thrills and hot candy.  Enemies mine those who live the pornographic.  We live the pornographic.  We are the pornographic.

Dominance Games: Draconian Winter

You can never tire of the the law of unintended consequence.  We can go to hell and back in order to make sure that good ends get accomplished and that good tools are set aside to accomplish them.  Kings of the world always trust in their own good intentions. Kings of the world laugh at the joke that power corrupts and that absolute power corrupts absolutely.  “The necessity of my invention demands that my intentions be sanitized and that my intentions be purer than yours…you damned harpie blank blank, you damned crying bastard blank blank.”  Kings of the world are that which the world needs to set itself right.

Now this is a thing we all know.  The clear efficiency of dogma and faith, of certainty and divinity is what holds us all upright.  The monkeys have no such things.  They float with Darwin’s bones.

Good god, certainty is a comfort and certainty is a thing that saves us  our night terrors and gives us the strength to go on.  If you want to blow up a village then blow up a village.  It is ever necessary to blow up a village to preserve it.  That works the mind and frees the spirit.

Saviors and warriors, thinkers and doodlers know that power is good…it is good to have power, good to hold it, good to cherish it, good to shine and buff it.  No power is bad power if the power broker has, holds, and owns it sweetly.

As for those unintended consequence……draconia can get turned on its head if it is not complete and totally ruinous.  The dog can strip the fields and starve to death.  Try as they might this is often the case.  The right world keeps going and going, expanding and expanding…like a big bad nightmarish balloon…this we know.  But lets do it anyway.  The simple truths of accomplished minds and self righteousness of accomplished spirits also deserve to have their days in the sun…til they blot it out.

The whirlwind has passed.  We avert calamity.  Dingy and dirty and unclean our heroes saw us through the fires of hell and we stand now upon the precipice of the awakening of a long and fruitful future abundant with bounty, awash with philosopher kings.

Then and again.  We have seen our stars save us before.  Always then and again.  Always the mystique of brave humanity in flux.  Always the mystique of brave humanity traversing the problems of existence in ways practical, necessary, burdening, resting.

Invitations to commingle with the fates come upon us often and we get mellow at the thought.  Forever the mysteries of the fair and noble society haunts our aspirations and our dreams.  Up from the muck comes our climb.  Up from the muck comes the climb of those who honor those who have before been bloody but unbowed, who have suffered the noble fight, stood firm with injury, with courage, with strong silent wisdom.

We see in our own betterment now the betterment for all.  Those who see in our ordered world the safe havens for all, the beacon, the standard for all are comforted and safe.

We have our aspirations, our lusts, our meaningless diversions.  We have our firm foundations of good moral backbone, our glorious antipathies, our grand memories.  We have our glorious antecedents whose memory is twisted well to our benefits.  We cherish the fight.  Honor.  Always honor.  The gods appreciate honor.  The gods appreciate hope….. the last vestige of the mind that claims for itself no power.

The flutters of sensuous hearts and the pulsating loins of girded men get solace and relief from the simple joys of comic release.  The health of and general demeanor of the ravaged put upon demand tonic and home.  The sweet birds and angels of paradise flutter simple wings and make symphonies.  It is always time for salvation.

The paradise of functioning bits of grand freedoms, ours.  The paradise of functioning bits of deliberative heavens, us.  The  dreams of our greatness lie languid and salutary, quaint mirrors bought and sold to give skewed reflections in the fun house of our lives.

The sullen songs, the narrow trolls, and the vacant stooges do not yet grasp the ancient effects chaste goodness.  The pranksters and the audacious know sure bits to turn to,  sure lures for ribald audience.  Sweet nights and frenzied fancies are always enlivened by the sparks of audacious warriors.

Evermore the fun rises.  Evermore  irrepressible.  Evermore lounging sleepily and quaintly.  Evermore the tides, the cycles of the moon.

The meek shall inherit the earth with baptism under fire requiring the will to be under fire.  Salvation always demands its time.  With hopes that tree never rots.  That fruit ….hanging low from an old oak tree.

Always the lynchings.  The smooth and terrible lynchings.  The loud blasts and the searing justifications.  The lynchings of process, purpose, representative viability, agenda, the sane.  Always ways the misdirection, the cunning, the wheedling, the weeping.  Power lanes and power functions…. where canst thou be? The pulleys, the levers, the slides, the hammers.  The fronts.  The lynchers.

Ruminations for the hot rabble with the sacks of rocks and the monkeys on their backs trundling through  the deep dark muck of the faeries labyrinthine.

Watch the lynching.  The good fear sets in.

To the spoils go the victors.  To the cunning go the cracks in the game, the cracks in the system.  Primaries are only for the extremes to invoke their blackmail.  Congressional districts are only drawn and worked for the extremes to invoke their blackmail.  The flowing money of those who love power are only for the extremes to invoke their blackmail.  The extremes are only for the extremes to invoke their blackmail.

Blackmail is a lovely tool.  A tool of fascists and thugs,  authoritarians and self important puff pieces.  Blackmail is good.  Greed is good.  Good is bad.  Power is for those who get it, not those who can exercise it.  Power is for those with the lean and hungry look.  Power is for the ones who love the night and love the shiv.  Power is for the killers, the breakers, the owners the tellers.  Power given is given to the ravenous and the ravenous have their hungers and the ravenous have their wants.

It is hard to stand in the way of the ravenous.  It is hard to be a piece of meat in the way of the ravenous.  Pieces of meat get devoured.  Pieces of meat are made to be devoured.  Pieces of meat put themselves out there as pieces of meat.  Waiting to be devoured.

Live the dream.  Be a butchers cut.
