So we have the fight for the soul of the American public. We have those lacking compassion. We have those awash with it. We have those understanding the trials and conflicts of production and those who appreciate not the efforts of innovation, management, survival. We have those who see the old evils of unbridled laissez – faire capitalism and those who do not. It is always the old conflicts. What does capitalism owe to labor….what does labor owe to capitalism? Is labor an endless pool to be eternally abused as an endless glut on the market? Is capital an endless evil trying to navigate the bitter fields of production, efficiency, competition, vulnerabilities in markets and systems?

The age old fight between the individual and the collective……the fodder of the collective versus the soul of the individual. Where today is the the acceptable line drawn? Do we not factor in the line at all? Stifle the human spirit and the society is dead. Stifle the living prospects of the general populace and the society is rancid. Capital creates capital….that is its purpose……all other grand benefits are off shoots not aims. Labor creates survival……too much a drag on production and nimbleness can kill the goose….Disrespect for either of the two, the fat cats, the greedy parasites and ugly is the world.

The many mealy mouthed babblers, cons, charlatans, fools and worthless scoundrels wrapping themselves in the flag that is the last refuge of scoundrels all claim to speak for the American public when the American public can’t even speak for itself. We don’t know what the hell we stand for……we’re too damned put upon, intimidated used, abused, manipulated and sapped to care. A soul requires soul searching. Soul searching requires contemplation, thought, quiet. Quiet requires that the whole damned political world shut up.

Since we get thrills and chills and ever lasting joy out of celebrating the most luxurious of people, the most luxurious of traits, the most sophisticated and civilized tracts of babbling, gawking characters is it no wonder that we have in hand a seminal,heart tugging political class that is, neigh, under no pressure what so ever to be or say anything charming, wise, substantial, solid, smart, wary, insightful, knowing. The tides of wisdom itself are a complete non starters reflected in life only in happy little fortune cookies, comic books reflecting the intellectual heights of cultural attainment, said comic books said heroes, babbling sycophants.

The basic economics of public discourse, public folly, public policy, public ruin demands fidelity and slavishness to those vile laws of supply and demand, those vile laws of create for the suckers what they will be facile, dim enough to embrace and to buy. What products can stand up against the complete resistance and total ridicule embracing the culturally irrelevant?

Products of not the mocking, slothful, gluttonous, prideful, lustful, venomous or envious varieties are weak products without needed edge, flying constituencies, sinful purpose, glittering acceptability, happy indecency. Products not of the mocking, slothful, gluttonous, prideful, lustful, venomous or envious varieties are products without soul.

The warms hearts of value go always to those who steal, intimidate, puncture dreams. The arrogant, the killers, the maimers, the selfish, the breakers, the indigent, the owners, the slobs ,,… we value the musty spirits of shining scams and past ruse. The political eaters knows from what to take a cue. There is bad meal for the hogs in the pen …. no unsettling stomach or consequences for eating the public’s demands …… and regurgitating them always in public.

So democracy goes on forever because that is our want, our world, ourselves, our bounty. So our worlds do not atrophy. They do not dissipate and die.

So there is the stability of governance full of protections for the powerless, full of balances in powers for those wishing enfranchisement.

So disintegration of trust, competence, public good…. simply a simple broken system populated by broken bums and the broken rabid venal. So the sun rises and tomorrow comes and America is the land of the free.

Power rests with those with access to the means of enforcement. The means of enforcement rests with those who have access to the control of movement, money, survival, position, power, today, yesterday and tomorrow. Today, yesterday, tomorrow rests with those who tell the tale.

It does not take much to run a world …just enough. A dollop of conflict, a dash of mass confusion, a smidgen of nowhere to go but in circles for those who wish to go somewhere else, a petulant stain of force, influence being ceded to those who can take it from those who can get it …. the show, the trick, the hammer, the pistol, the lark, the ruse, the making it so.

Hammer holds, grids in lock, governance unresponsive, self seeking, cross purposes here, no purposes there … everywhere the choke holds of choice.

Access to the choke holds of choice? Spit and hate, rant and whine, block all ways to balance interests and intimidation….. dream jobs for losers. The private muscle of private muscle. The path to own the world. Who would you go to to solve your problems?

Arrogance always supersedes urgency and the arrogance of insulation always supersedes the urgency of acting on behalf of pressures or ideas that will not now or never effect ones daily bread, ones daily life.

Playing shell games and playing at work makes for fine image and fall back positions of moral rectitude but doing false work on false projects to pretend to solve unwished for problems is the work of selling image to all and self and akin to the digging of holes followed by the filling in of holes.

The debt. The debt. The debt……game fodder for the mouthers, the back stabbers, the mammon lovers, the small and the air gobblers…the owners of us all and our worlds and dreams.

Discontent breeds opportunity, pressure, hot blood, seething hates. For those ilconceived and overly inflated…..all the better to foment, to muster …to use. Run up the flags…blow up the smoke……play out the strings. War games of choice go on in battlefields unseen. Games go on, games using the false actions, reactions, fancies, distraught as tactical weapons of insidious choice. Show trials and glossy images.

Those who can anti up force and resource, fear and muscle….. oh, the shows they put on. orchestrated by their grand armies of prim cons, fleecing scammers, back alley hoods, there is never any there there when it comes to crises we are sold.

Why bother to solve the heralded all encompassing and factually ruthless imperial budget crises when said crises is not there to be solved? Nothing more than a sloppy pinata draped upon the homespun party thrown by all the boys and girls drunk for the action… having irrepressible jags for the action…..placating and simmering with cold flames for the action. Good solid meaningful action that can be used to whip up blood enemies and thrill the the stokers of lust and need.

False stories, chimeras narratives, empty hopes, vacant dreams, passing images, unanswerable questions, answers from the river Styx, hapless charades….. red blooded players with red blooded skin in the games care about red blood, bloody gain, the bloody heels on the throats of bloody hated traitors. There is not passion for dealing with the vagaries and the nonentities of the vapid politics. The vast cognizati of every day life masquerade as simple put upon citizens who have not time for the debilitating nonsense they see and have instead to make survival wages and steer clear of posses of deliberate fools who would rap them upside the head on a whim and a prayer.

Side show and constant embarrassment the political, flirty, dirty to the touch; abusive, useless in expression; reusing, using, reflecting upon sinister gain. The carnal stuff of banal folk and the wan adventures of gilded lilies and spruced up stuffed dandies things frolicking, political and celestial are the games of choice for the stalkers, the skulkers the monster devils, the ghosts who grin wide with wide great green grins and stab sweetly with seething, burning long and jagged knives and ice pics.

Fossil fuel for moving hamsters running in wheeled cages of circular and regressive redundant elliptic and largely ignored thought, politics is rancid cotton candy.

Tis the last refuge of the hyper activity, the happy home of hunched over Igors foaming through the mouth with dripping dreams and fawning derisions, with droopy bites open for tail of newt and horns of toad.

The shining sin of shining sin is hard and dangerous. The cesspool of life, deliberately slimy and intimidating is hard and of trepidation.

Tough love toughs of mouth and fable, stern muscular loners of story and legend, hard charging fixers of business and dirt….where oh where are these happiness toys when it comes to the daily dirt of daily life…..lean, mean tough and and smart; coy and dour and worthy goes up against the devil. Some say that crises make for opportunity, make for the chance for greatness, make for the stage upon which the strong, staunch, smart and virtuous may shine. Others say that crisis should never be wasted and that with attention comes opportunity, opportunity to push vacant wares, sell flaccid stories, inhabit weak dreams.

Crises abound and abound. Returning all purpose, political theater and budget crises comes again to a theater near and dear. Power shifts of economic, political, military and manipulative narratives stare down upon the horizon darkly…. grand meals for those of spouting of platitudes, of the courting of kings, the demeaning of public will and the fostering the never ending commercial ventures making them and others rich beyond mammon with endless frays into being bought and sold, endless frays into buying and selling.

We listen to the mature babblers and venal, cynical procures and fondlers and we structure in their charades as edifice and home. False realities worthy of dismissive carnival barkers and fleecing midway con men come tumbling down as driven snow.

Spectacle and narrative, heroes and villains, idiots and dopes game the games, the presentations, the flair, the pomp, the circumstance of the sold realities and tragic heartbreaks. All vaudevillian magic acts work the joyous suspension of disbelief for and all vaudevillian magic acts play their audiences ripe for boundless energy, happy simplicity and boundless corruption. They fly high in the world they seek….these happy magicians ours.

With character traits reflective of little personal worth other than the usual banal drives towards wealth and power our message makers humble themselves to communicate with us, the dead. They read into our mystic psyches and us growling masses growl and seek the red meat of battle.

Arts and science and the accumulating wisdom of the prosperous schemers, looters, owners, breakers, haters, intimidators and reprobates tell true of success for the taking and obnoxia, distortion, demon bating, sneering for eternal truth and secular wants. The carrion appeal to the better natures of our beings enable us lords of stature and brutish heels of repulsion. Sad, mad, chosen calculations to be sure.

Approached, factored, fractured, and given the charge for the triumphant lame and the happily weak of mind and will, strivers strive

Postulates, apostates, seers and cynics love the great unwashed and see only fair game for their driven snow. Through vague mists of hope they see and seek a vile and little and mean little audience. The wealth of the wealthy and corrupt gets spent well for the true right pandering to reach its begging audience. This wealth is not squandered, not spent for fun.
