Who wishes to dole out hard won, luckily won, irredeemably won, suffocatingly won, nauseating, demonizing, intimidating, neanderthal inducing dollops of sage ever loving power and the fruits there of to those on the come, coming through the rye, those on the make, those not burning on the stake, those too damned stupid to love the joys of fire and brimstone, absolute power for its own damned sake fools who may be in any damned position to see it, get at it, breathe it, depress it?

What secret Santa to the useful and the submissive, the skilled for sale and the mouths for hire would wish to let poseurs, nonbelievers, heart throbbing bleeders, reckless devil may care worms or mild mannered simple folk yearning to breathe free have access to the force, the treasure, the intimidat6ion, the air, water and mineral rights of life when they are happily already in the pocket and worshiped for the rewards of narcissism, orgasm, self sustained eternal tribute and lethal weapons of choice?

What addled plutocrats or gangster, self indulgent amoral sociopath immersed in riches… what beady eyed little keeper of the flaming swords of crusading Huns wants to restructure the game, the playing field, the players, the bums, the screamers, the welshers, the stealers, the thieves, the spinners and the cover givers when the game as is is magnificent and all bluffs can be pulled and pots can be emptied?

Who could wish the rectal examinations, cathartic splurges, the awarenesses of the levers and the pulleys, the trap doors and the trick floors when the garden paths to seizure and control rest with those who can navigate that happy spring time?

With control of treasure, of the real and present access of the mass duncelings to movement, physical and financial,…wage slave…house poor and bound, job scared and worshiping……with control over future prospects, future air to breathe, the leisure, time, motivation to understand, maim and challenge…… with control over the sameness, lameness of speech; embarrassment and and absurdity of argument….with control over the nature of fools picked and rushed to give gridlock in swarm infested, lock step invested, ideologically protected positions of governance all insuring the eminently useful, happily cynical, overtly joyous lack of respect or lack of belief in any public force able to countermand comfort and joy for lords and masters…..with control over such merry things and Xmas gifts why would the strong, silent cold and wily; the deadly hidden assassinating lovelies allow point, structures, men, women, thoughts, embalmed dead myths any access to gain a foothold, raise a challenge?

It seems to me that in the grand scheme of things and the grand cultural marches through time, the great contributions to human growth and progress, self actualization, self awareness, intellectual pursuits and defense against small minded idiots, bigots, intellectual poseurs, slobs who can intimidate but not reason, kill but know no heart or wisdom, seek power and the use of and limitations of others ….. it seems to me the grand traditions of Renaissance, Enlightenment, development of critical thought, the standings for honest inquiry …. the meekly dawning weapons against ideology, orthodoxy, dictated ways of thought, book burning, haters….it seems to me that this has probably been a good thing.

This cherished prize ours is, of course, generally attacked, hated, pushed towards ruin, demonized, dirtied, wished to go away. This cherished prize ours, its grand proponents, are routinely wished ruin, disembowelment, the flames of hell, the wish to be the food of fish. This cherished prize ours is sagely identified as godless demonization, elitist relativism, soft, mooching, preying Shylocking and degraded muck from the pits of hell.

To cherish that which has made a culture great, that which has given lifeblood to praised and rejected cultural and political antecedents, to champion the cause for its greatness is to court demise. Simple thought, simple answers. Idiots delight and snakes’ base orthodoxy. Churlish propagandists and rank little cynics who buy and sell, whip and muster, break and draw and quarter…they steal the future, ring dry freedom of movement, of thought, leave no place physical or mental worthy to go ….no avenues untouched by simplicity, orthodoxy, numbness, dictates of divine grand pooh bas and devils…no avenues independent or non treasonous…. the grand logical conclusion of intellectual progress is that the number of anti intellectual idiots will eventually overrun and save the day.

Hate the damned hippies. Turn up your nose as the insipid tea baggers. The rot gut whiskey of allowable detesting is always alive and well and always fun and cathartic.

Hate the cloven heeled liberals. Detest the iron bottomed true believers and mellow ideologues. Harangue the walls with mellow tones of vitriol and hate.

The devils we love give us the sideshows we crave. What good is a rumble if it can’t be seen in glorious color and mighty second rate narratives. What good is tomorrow if we can have at the seeds of the future today? What good is yesterday if it can’t give us causes to moon over and despicable vile louts to blame for sin?

It feels damned good to ride out the crests of smart assed divinity. It feels damned good to be the killers of purpose and the receptacles for inanity. Call out all impenetrable fools who stand for the fiery ends of civilization as we love it. Cede power to the tame, lame and clueless. Messages are for messengers and messengers are rat’s assed annoying.

Kill the tinkers and the thinkers, the fusers and the bated. The royal closets mind the rules for heavens and earth. The royal wings of vengeful royal scum wait patiently in the wings.

Beware of false springs, love of false springs, love of reactions to false springs, the cynical lot of soulless cookies being left the rage to play out the ends of discourse and rigorous thought, opinion.

Truth is truth. Humble is humble. The American people are smart enough to be discerning and aware enough not to be fooled….. so say the backers of lying, deceit, treachery, debasement. They believe in that which they say.

All is fair. Politics ain’t bean bags. Brass knuckles and hard rights to the jaw. Sucker punches and ribbons of blood. Power plays are for power.

The discerning American public knows this to be so and knows this to be right. They know what they see. They see what they know. They smell truth and plays and cons and stories. They cannot be played or fooled or made to be idiots and knaves. People spin them and propagandize them at their own risk. They, the folk, know better. Since we get thrills and chills and ever lasting joy out of celebrating the most luxurious of people, the most luxurious of traits, the most sophisticated and civilized tracts of babbling, gawking characters is it no wonder that we have in hand a seminal,heart tugging political class that is, neigh, under no pressure what so ever to be or say anything charming, wise, substantial, solid, smart, wary, insightful, knowing. The tides of wisdom itself are a complete non starters reflected in life only in happy little fortune cookies, comic books reflecting the intellectual heights of cultural attainment, said comic books said heroes, babbling sycophants.

The basic economics of public discourse, public folly, public policy, public ruin demands fidelity and slavishness to those vile laws of supply and demand, those vile laws of create for the suckers what they will be facile, dim enough to embrace and to buy. What products can stand up against the complete resistance and total ridicule embracing the culturally irrelevant?

Products of not the mocking, slothful, gluttonous, prideful, lustful, venomous or envious varieties are weak products without needed edge, flying constituencies, sinful purpose, glittering acceptability, happy indecency. Products not of the mocking, slothful, gluttonous, prideful, lustful, venomous or envious varieties are products without soul.

The warms hearts of value go always to those who steal, intimidate, puncture dreams. The arrogant, the killers, the maimers, the selfish, the breakers, the indigent, the owners, the slobs ,,… we value the musty spirits of shining scams and past ruse. So democracy goes on forever because that is our want, our world, ourselves, our bounty. So our worlds do not atrophy. They do not dissipate and die.

So there is the stability of governance full of protections for the powerless, full of balances in powers for those wishing enfranchisement.

So disintegration of trust, competence, public good…. simply a simple broken system populated by broken bums and the broken rabid venal. So the sun rises and tomorrow comes and America is the land of the free.

Power rests with those with access to the means of enforcement. The means of enforcement rests with those who have access to the control of movement, money, survival, position, power, today, yesterday and tomorrow. Today, yesterday, tomorrow rests with those who tell the tale.

It does not take much to run a world …just enough. A dollop of conflict, a dash of mass confusion, a smidgen of nowhere to go but in circles for those who wish to go somewhere else, a petulant stain of force, influence being ceded to those who can take it from those who can get it …. the show, the trick, the hammer, the pistol, the lark, the ruse, the making it so.

Hammer holds, grids in lock, governance unresponsive, self seeking, cross purposes here, no purposes there … everywhere the choke holds of choice.

Access to the choke holds of choice? Spit and hate, rant and whine, block all ways to balance interests and intimidation….. dream jobs for losers. The private muscle of private muscle. The path to own the world. Who would you go to to solve your problems?

Some say that crises make for opportunity, make for the chance for greatness, make for the stage upon which the strong, staunch, smart and virtuous may shine. Others say that crisis should never be wasted and that with attention comes opportunity, opportunity to push vacant wares, sell flaccid stories, inhabit weak dreams.

Crises abound and abound. Returning all purpose, political theater and budget crises comes again to a theater near and dear. Power shifts of economic, political, military and manipulative narratives stare down upon the horizon darkly…. grand meals for those of spouting of platitudes, of the courting of kings, the demeaning of public will and the fostering the never ending commercial ventures making them and others rich beyond mammon with endless frays into being bought and sold, endless frays into buying and selling.

We listen to the mature babblers and venal, cynical procures and fondlers and we structure in their charades as edifice and home. False realities worthy of dismissive carnival barkers and fleecing midway con men come tumbling down as driven snow.

Spectacle and narrative, heroes and villains, idiots and dopes game the games, the presentations, the flair, the pomp, the circumstance of the sold realities and tragic heartbreaks. All vaudevillian magic acts work the joyous suspension of disbelief for and all vaudevillian magic acts play their audiences ripe for boundless energy, happy simplicity and boundless corruption. They fly high in the world they seek….these happy magicians ours.

Certain talkers and mouthers and candidates of various flavors and stripes and different flavors of cotton candy grandly, majestically kneel royally to bend their messages, bend their truths, bend sacred apparent iconic natures of consistency, logic, belief, reason, credulity. With the sublime gusto and merciless aims of strident warriors and granite augured figures of legend the fly as standard bearers for slick, trick and quick.

Speech mellifluent, stentorian, beloved, scintillating and rabid. Speech ribald, deathly, banal, coveted, true flaming arrows, well aimed smart bombs, happy little snide and cynical strategic little plays and back slapping little acts of shaping coveted alternate realities.

Vaunted speech is wide in the vacuum of worlds they reflect. Vaunted speech is fraught with views and worlds and worldviews skewed darkly as to allow images of the reflecting mists of acceptable reality and the reflecting mists of allowable denial to shimmer in league with muse and fable.

Marvelous spears of masters and the adept know true their aim,their marks, their paths to heaven. Openings allowed them in their drives for canonization, control, pandering, use, domination, hate, accomplishment and ascendant flair are gifts from heaven and the gads of needy beggars.

There is always ascendance or survival, the playing of the malnourished and non washed, the charges going forward and sights true upon the prize, the ball, the soft flesh open to rupture, the soft mind open to rapture.
