Dominance Games: Dominance Games: Prior to sinking the ships of state

For viewing pleasure there are always the perfect villains and perfect fools of the corridors of power using the levers that they hold in order to work things out in ways workable.  Checks and balances work in so far as there is the ability to execute.  Laws, after all, are just means to direct the execution of the power of the state.  With the governed increasingly unwilling to abide by the sanctions of the state directions lead to one of two outcomes.  Either a tightening of force or the grip of the powerful or the fragmentation of power without cohesive structure or finely tuned apparatus to enforce unknowable rules and standards.

The games may be different in different places and systems but the principle is the same.  No agreement on an umbrella political structure gives way to the savageries of power plays and power grabs.  Corruption is not corruption.  It becomes the order of disorder with, in the extremes , the order of death.

Fragmented views of society are wished for by those in opposition to the order that is.  Push too far and hoped for new orders become no order what so ever.  Allegiances to cohesion are hard allegiances when corrupting power wanes out of control.  Allegiances to fraction and divisiveness are not attractive measures when they invite  a broken world without recourse to fixing.  A non lethal state can be mended best from within.  A lethal state invites the danger of getting better or worse.

Firebrands would do well to judge the level of real toxicity prior to sinking their ships of state.  Puzzlers ponder answers, define not questions.  The powers of those in the catbirds seat always trump rage and rant.

The self interest of the fears and cries of the put upon is dear.  Perceptions  are often eternally skewed.  Perceptions of power bases are often eternally skewed.  Readings of power bases are often eternally flawed.

In the rush to build government, the rush to build equity, firmness grabs often by the  short hairs.  Whom gets whom by them, the short hairs? The world is the world of unintended consequence.  Who rages for these, the unintended consequence?  Those who risk too much for too little or those who risk too little for too much.  Lasting fancy and gifts from the devil make martyrs out of the righteous.  The righteous put much good in play and much good in jeopardy.  Judgement is a hard to come by commodity.  Laws may be a sham.  Too much fracture and the trust of the populace is lost.  Too little and is is co-opted.

Dominance Games: The rank prancers and weak dittos

Posted in Commentary, current events, News, opinion, Politics, Uncategorized, writing with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on May 27, 2011 by B Schiff

They are the masters of mirth, the procurers of entertainment, the light show, the tinder box.  They are the answer to questions not asked, the question to answers not given.  They appear and disappear at will, the phantasms of dimension, the spines of the spineless.  They endure mightily as they are endurable.  They are smart and free thinking rotted plants.

The come to tell us that they are special, that they think, act, feel, maim.  They promise to promise.   They promise to spew.  They are too damned  base and too damned foolish.

Mean well.  Do well.  Be well.  Be of hard scrabble worth and  abundant luminescence.  Have voice, privilege, a mound of dirt and a pile of rubble  upon which to speak.  Represent.  They represent.  They are the strong special grifters who grift well with rocks and stones.  Ones of a kind.   Cream rising to the top.  The bats in the belfry.

Into nether world jobs they go.  Whistling and skipping and wailing and scheming,  swords of mighty justice they are.  The usual exchangeable parts who fit the slots and make noxious noise they are.  Hordes of independence, realism and thinkers, seers and lemmings swooning gracefully.   Good seering hacks can enjoy the laughter of achievement and ritual, attainment and lobotomy, speciousness and tripe.

Go along,  get along.  Be of the flow.  Offer steam and fall no more.  Great movements mean dead brains.  Why talk when nothing said means a damned thing.  All show all the time.  The virtue in the weak sisters and the hairy apes.  Do any of the rank prancers have the worth to be other than weak dittos?  Love all the damned candidates all the damned time.

Dominance Games: The tools to ravage and conquer.

Posted in Commentary, current events, News, opinion, Politics, Uncategorized, writing with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on May 26, 2011 by B Schiff

The games of mirrors.  The games of phantoms, hubris, the ephemeral,  the sharp knife .  The violent moves towards preservation.  The games viewed in the prisms of desires and the choice of wars.

The aims of the seekers of wisdom, truths, pocketbooks.   Calculated to the fine points of wishes and wants, projections of bodiless harm the obstructionist is the way of progress.  Long term.  Short term.

The beast of the devil kills and the swarms of ideas with which he pollutes, eases out the roughage and the use the club.  The scalpel, the lethal injection beat down the point.  The toughest, meanest fighter in the room fights for freedom.  War is good.

Starve the government beast.  Preserve order of attainable influence.  Hold the crying towel and work the needy.  Suffering makes for the accomplishing of adulthood.  Suffering makes for stress that kills.  We’ve come a long way from where we’ve been so shut up and die.  We have a long way to go so celebrate the pain.

Cringe and beg.  Survive or not.  Cull the herd.  Break the bank.  Put square pegs in round holes.  Hate losers.  Hate winners.  Hate the need for security.  Hate the desire for security.  Love the nanny state.  Love help from the regulating nazies.  Save the body.  Free the soul.  Save the soul.  Free the body.  Pick who to gets hurt.  They have no use.   In the short term.  In the long term.  It is always necessary to marginalize.

The logic of rigidity demands fidelity to principle.  The logic of principle demands not fidelity to logic.  Aims demand gain.  Gain demands what it can.  Gain is the winner.  A  beachhead to call a permanent home is sought.  Gain is sought.

The wellspring from which to establish a mean base of violent attack is the warriors dream.  Boys and their toys, girls and their whirls.  The tools to ravage and conquer.  Desirable ends.  What else is it all about?  The passionate logic of passion picks the runners.  The passionate logic of runners fancies the passion.  Nobody does nothin’ foe nothin’.  Aims are true.  The knives are out.

Passions dictate tactics.  Win what there is to win.  Life in the sun.  Victory is what you make of it.  Killers kill.  Elections are for bottom feeders.  Elections are for killers.

Dominance Games: Politics is for suckers. Might is for pros.

From the bottom up.  Many times, many ways the power in government and life comes from the bottom up.

The base up.  The foundation up.  Many times, many ways the power in government and life comes from the base up, the foundation up.
Building blocks supreme support edifices and efforts of grand public pooh baas, void doers do gooders and all serious scholars.  Mountains of sadistic gain are built lovingly and to the credit of justice from the bottom up.

From the bottom up comes the power, the virtue, the massive movements  hard knocks,  hard pain, sharp elbows, hurting places.  From the bottom up comes ribald thuggery and haunting bleeding.  Grab assed grab ass…. from the bottom up.

Grand stability and surely supporters.  Roving marauding monsters cover great wide swaths of devouring nightmares devouring all before them as inebriated locusts in eternal heat.  From the bottom up dreams come true.

Lift that bail.  Tote that barge.  Skunk that skunk.  Hammer that nail.  Moral dignity and severe belonging.  Group buzz and kumbayah.  From the bottom up comes the holy hell of a saintly pedestal upon which the bottom feeders and the  mighty rest and lord.  From the bottom up.

Skunk that skunk.   Maim those weak.  Fry order.  Dump decency.  Right  worth.   To elect is to be  right as rain.  Fair fights  and demon idiots win in the world of dreams.  In the world of wants.  In the world of how does it feel to want.  Competition flourishes  and you win a Buick.  Games on games.  Wheels on wheels.  Naked whimsies of naked riders riding naked on horseback….. nakedly.  The fantasies and virtues of  fantasies of virtue are long and luminous.

When there has to be a vote…make it crooked.  Where there has to be an electorate fix it.  Where there has to be a district game it.  Where there has to be a show….dance.  Politics is for suckers.  Might is for pros.

Dominance Games: Speak loudly and club the bastards to death

Posted in Commentary, current events, News, opinion, Politics, Uncategorized, writing with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on May 24, 2011 by B Schiff

I think they like it.  Zoos come and go and animals act up and perform and I think they like it.  Trendy rackets of self immolation get thrown under the bus and to the wolves.  I think they like it  The players play and they kiss their own behinds.  I think they like.  The fight enjoined, the bating bated, the hate hated, the smarms smarmed.  I think they like it.

The moods moody.  The lights misty.  The dancing seals dancing.  Blood sport sporting.  Kill sport killing.  Derision sport deriding.  They damned well like it.

Commentary as machete for the lazy and the rich. Toys to be abused for the ones who take wings off of flies.  Hateful hates.  Vile devils.  Deemed demons.  They damned well love it.

Hope is for those who work at something.  Hate is the all purpose passport.  Define thine self.  Color tawdry and putrid thine enemy devil.  Tactics. Tactics.  Tactics.  Tougher.  Stronger.  Simpler.  More vivid.  More emasculating.  More basically simple.

Ahh..the devils are coming.  The devils are coming.  Speak loudly and club the bastards to death.  The devils make us play dirty.  They implore us to the noble tricks of the trade.  Kill the bastards.  Blood sport.  Blood lust.  Blood.  Taste the taste.

Some are better at it than others.  The real politics.

Dominance Games: Thought in the marketplace of ideas

Posted in Commentary, current events, News, Politics, Uncategorized, writing with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on May 23, 2011 by B Schiff

Always the marketplace of ideas.  Always the good, the vile, the trenchant. The ugly, the dividable, the constant.  The ill formed, the dense.  Always the right to think …uncooked, overcooked, burnt out.  Undeveloped, lacking in substance, fact or logical base.  Slick, hateful. mundane.  Self assured, self righteous.  Grounded in the name of God and the angels.

Grand traditions of thought … right; the instigation of prickly combat, the plays for hypothesis, synthesis, thesis.  Ideas flourish and blooms a thousand roses and food to feed millions.  Knowledge: study, combat, brass knuckles, rolling in dirt.  Good thought triumphs over bad, matched in the cauldron of public discourse.  This is so.

The battle of the network thoughts can be a supreme battle…. a ratings winner… the best damned scripted reality show on all media all the time, on all social media all the time, on all thug actions all the time.  Dream the dream.  Open the floor to pure imagination, examination.  Winners win.  Losers lose.  The vanquished get clobbered and virtue accedes as always to put up winners.  Grand spectacle here.  Grand spectacle there.  Grand spectacle everywhere.

Allow for the wins of the neanderthal chest thumpers.  Access to implementation of words and deeds is proof of God’s favor… the win closes off discussion…eliminates virtue in the demeaned rancid other…closes off  rematch or challenge.  The game is of but power and self protection. The game is not of the ideas of soft hearted dupes.  Staunch honorable true believers think good thoughts, demand proper interpretations of all others.  Never give a sucker an even break.  Never give a challenger a voice. …. Democracy is not for the weak.  Only for those who can game it…Here there and everywhere.   Spring, summer or fall.

Behind the sacred god of gods, the freedom to be a rotten bastard can achieve many seedy ends.  Dregs of losers get kicked around in the streets.  The exchange of thought in the marketplace of ideas gives virtue to those who wish to shut down the marketplace.

Dominance Games: Hanging from an old oak tree

Posted in Commentary, current events, News, opinion, political analysis, political science, Politics, Uncategorized, writing with tags , , , , , , on May 22, 2011 by B Schiff

The flutters of sensuous hearts and the pulsating loins of girded men get solace and relief from the simple joys of comic release.  The health of and general demeanor of the ravaged put upon demand tonic and home.  The sweet birds and angels of paradise flutter simple wings and make symphonies.  It is always time for salvation.

The sullen stooge and the narrow troll do not yet grasp the salutary effects of feeling good.  The pranksters and the audacious know sure bits to turn to,  sure lures for ribald audiences.  Sweet nights and fancy  are always enlivened by the spark of sparks.

Evermore the fun rises.  Evermore  irrepressible.  Evermore lounging sleepily and languidly.  Evermore enjoying the tides, the cycles of the moon.

The meek shall inherit the earth.  Warm springs always demand immersion.  Salvation always demands its time.  The tree never rots.   The fruit ….hanging low from an old oak tree.  One never forgets wonders.  Always the lynchings

Dominance Games: Showtime

Privacy.  Intrusion.  Know too damned much about every minute of your every day.  Privacy concerns.  Property concerns.  Monitoring your movements and wagging your tail concerns.  Know thine enemy.  Know thineself.  The watchers and the stalkers know thine and thine all all too well.  Thine and thine just continually give the stuff of total knowledge away and will continue to do so always and forever and after that.

Content.  Freedom.  Information.  Rights to sparklers of knowledge and entertainment.  The whole wide wonderful world we live in  is a whole wide wonderful  entertainment machine….the whole wide wonderful world stage…the whole wide wonderful world players…the whole wide wonderful continual and total intensely soothing and sexually fulfilling voyeurism.  The whole wide wonderful wonderful.

Showtime always by, for and soothing the rank amateurs.  Showtime always by, for and soothing the pristine trusted professionals.  Showtime always by, for and soothing.  All the world … that sweet little stage.

Everyday suckers put on shows, put out viewing material and movement tracking just for the hell of it…good, free open source content providers.  The proprietary stake is just to feed the proprietary beast.  The proprietary rewards are just to feed the proprietary beast.  The proprietary beast is a good over arching blanket.

Others, the proprietary traffic cops of wealth and fame and proprietary traffic builders of moxie and hedonism don’t much like each other as they squirrel around and try very hard ti searingly use each other.  Each, alone, poor little victims of the information age.  Interfere with the dissemination of everything and everybody and a poor wretched little business model is threatened.  Interfere with the owning and keeping of proprietary content and nonsense and nobility of purpose is damned and forgotten.  Intellectual property…we have so little…lets take it.  Intellectual property…so very hard to come by …lets hoard it and sully it.   All  get and give a little piece of the  show.  Ticket sales.  Ticket sales.  Let them all prosper.  A fabulous waste of time.  Come the predators.

Dominance Games: Glory in the morning

Power corrupts.  It corrupts mightily and famously.  It corrupts hedonisticlaly, morally, severely. It turns virtue on its head and relegates expression to a game.  Power fuels the laundered images of fear and the abject lack of restraint.  Power goads and practices, flails and takes what it takes.  It can be a serene thing  it can be a strong thing, a mocking thing, a self satisfied thing.  Power can shine like a beacon, drop like a stone, crush like a runaway truck.  It lures.  It calls.  It wants.  It produces sweet songs to calm the ear, sweet reason to sack the instincts.  It may turn away from its prey and seem to be something else, a trivial thing that hides itself  from challenges and flies sweetly from inspection.  Power knows.  It sweats.  It works very very hard. It knows itself.  It knows its dupes.  It glorifies all.

Dominance Games: The landscape gets cold at night

Posted in Commentary, current events, News, opinion, Politics, Uncategorized, writing with tags , , , , , , , , on May 21, 2011 by B Schiff

Again we mock the human soul.  Again we mock the human spirit.  The cadres of popular imagery are apparent no more.  Damn the torpedoes, all speed ahead.  The more we behave the better we become at ability.  The more we are drunk with the powers of observation, the more we are observant of the void.  The emptiness of the great desert of formless nothing haunts our futures and it is a barren desert, a hot dry place.

The landscape gets cold at night, a counterpoint to the extreme heat of the day. It is an uninviting place, the future in times of trouble and uncertainty.  It mocks us, our belief in it, in its presence, its shape.  It can retreat and hide, run away or crush.  It stares us down a hungry lion.

Deal with what isn’t there.  Build monuments to what is not real.

A view from the other side.

A view from trying to beard the tremulous lion.
