Dominance Games: The power to dictate

Dominance Games / Politics

Small government.  Big Government.  Public money.  Private money.  People starving.  People not starving.  Helping a neighbor out of the goodness of ones heart.  Helping a neighbor out of the largess of public policy.  Spending for this.  Spending for that.  Buying this.  Buying that. Demand for goods.  Demand for services.  Satisfying demand.  Nurturing demand.

In the end that for which there is demand for gets dealt with.  That for which there is demand for gets approached and , with varying degrees of success, gets attention.  In the end the efficiencies of the market work extremely well where they work extremely well.  The grand public panorama of effective government handles things that are beyond the scope of capitalist incentive….beyond the vagueries and whims  of the decision makers and power brokers in a competitive market place.

Safety nets in society bind us together.  Mass poverty and illness are in no ones interest save those who envision a different world…..one of only corporate sanctioned winners.

In the end there are rational, common sense needs of a civilized world.  There are rational, civilized needs for checks and balances, protections from those who may act in their own best interests in no others.  There are lines that should never be crossed when seeking a just and fair world.  There are certain truths that are implied in the social contract of any society…..change those truths and the society is no longer a harmonic whole.

In the end, if there is a common purpose and a common identity and common interests things sorted out come from the same pie…….You pay one way or the other.   In the end the viscous battle are between those who wish the power to dictate.

Economic policy is the much debatable rancid football of our times.  Do we want heaven on earth for our beleaguered country?  Do we want a garden of Eden with life good and cares small?  Do we want the fruits of honest labor to bear fruits of sustainable labor?

Is there access to material, innovation, coordination, distribution, efficiency in markets….all the base underlying needs of wealth and plenty?  If there is plenty to be had then the problem is in how best to access it.  If there is not, then the problem is in how best to find or create it…plenty.

Inefficient systems or insufficient bounties open themselves up to battles over who has access to the ultimate controls of goods and services, force and law, mobility, dictates of behavior, access to survival.  Abundant economies make the jockeying for such power verily a spectator sport with most happy enough to let those in the arena game out their fiefdoms as long as they leave paths of survival for the rest of the worker ants.  In tight times those who have fiefdoms wish only to protect them and keep them…wish only to keep the hordes from the gates, force on their side.  Policy is smoke.  Policy is mirrors.  Policy is tactic and strategy for establishing order, hierarchy, reigns of power, access to the never ending more.

Systems are power based, power centric, power diffused.  Power hungry bastards with power use many tricks to work their ways forward.  Weak sisters and savants dream the dream of being cultural icons and philosopher despots as they bring force to startling rhapsodies of ideological purities.  In the end it is about gaining control of a system shaped and molded by forces at your beck and call.  The interests of the rabble can always be used to seduce and undermine when they are sold a rancid dream and forced down a path where they end up with no say but to find scapegoats for their false dreams gone awry and astray…and hearty thank yous and ass kissing to their patient masters.

Drug Cartels funding anti drug campaigns.   Political power players funding laws destabilizing the disenfranchised.   Those able to manipulate smaller governing bodies favoring anti intrusive small government.  Anti government infrastructure movements not wishing money to go to unions.  Avowed anti capitalists wishing controls over the work force.

Shadow boxing is always shadow boxing.  Tactics are always tactics.  Strategy is always strategy.  When logic is insufficient in explaining the lack of common sense based outcomes and policies money and power lead the way.  When practicality of action and result gets swamped in a morass money and power hoe the road.  When suckers get suckered against their own best interests and they are sold the lie, buy the fiction, are put on the market to be bought and sold as the chattel they are, they screech mightily with the joys of groveling pigs.

Big interests have big interests, do things quietly when then can, loudly when they must.  Fools have big interests, get played all the time, believe that the interests of the interested who are ready, willing and able to swat them down.  The poor put upon feel that the interests of their betters coincide with the interest of the suckers who are fed peanuts and given bread and circuses.  Poor drab little lives…. sell what there is of a soul for the rotten entertainment of cystic scum.

Dominance Games: Politics

So the idea is to tell the poor suckers who have no work, have no money, have no hope, have no future, have no protections other than those given by the hard edged hard line free market bores who say that business unfettered is business and that business unfettered has no other interests that a productive society and that business unfettered will always be efficient providers of goods and services and that there will never be downward pressures to cut labor costs or labor usage and that a free hand brings no risk.

Business efficient is business good…but efficient is what the great monopolists were…..for their purposes…..nothing bur efficient…

That all said and thrown out…..there is always the promise that if the poor and put upon suffer more today then the markets will always rescue them in the great white tomorrow..

There is always the premise that the poor and put upon must suffer…never the espousers of the grand theories of economic social Darwinism….often practiced by those who reject Darwinism outright..

Keep it up…wait a while…turn on the needy…at what point do they have nothing left to lose and say to hell with it…from where the hell sprang communism in the first place…

It always amazes that the grand schemers think that the ones they attack will always take it and just slink back under their rock…

Perception turns hopes…. the perceptions of the perceived ideals of The New Deal blunted the urges  and surges of harmful left leaning reactions to harmful right leaning self satisfaction…

Capitalism works only so long as its losers buy into it…or what for them is the damned purpose…Then as always might make right.

Are you a good little political operative who is happy with the structural flaws in our political system that makes it your job to revel in and celebrate all of the ways the system and its people can be gamed, used, laughed at?

Are you a good little political operative who is that true cynical wonder who will exploit ignorance where he finds it, exploit foolishness where it can be nourished, exploit dimness and self delusion as it it dances around its merry way?

Are you a good little political operative who is wise to the ways of the mechanics of system and and the pressure points and disingenuous levers of power so that you can work wonders with the right amounts of willingness to debase.

Are you a good little political operative who is proud to mock those open to mocking, those being  schoolyard dumb and open to such things? Does rational discourse threaten your soul, your fun, the level of ability of your candidate?

Are you a good little political operative who cares for the honor in your profession and the true stature of your candidate?  the nature of your candidate?  Are you a political operative who with honor true character unimpeachable and of the type and stripe that is immune to personal corruption?

Are you a good little political operative who knows that a knife fight goes to the mean crazy eyed bastard, goes to the junk yard dog?

Are you a good little political operative who knows that protection in a knife fight goes to certain preparedness…. and that once you got the tools to maim…maim……

The good little folk all over wouldn’t have it any other way.

Dominance Games: Reap the wild dirge of rapscallion fancy

We beg the grim reaper to not waste our poor little lives.  We watch the angels as they watch over us.  The little devils…they come from there, they come from from here, they saunter about and just come from every  which where.

We have our little lusts.  They have our little lusts.  We have our little  depravities.  They have our little depravities.   We are bold in manner, strong in virtue.  They just want to know the nobility of our character.   We just want our dear little selves spread around for all to see and know.  They will love us to death.  We will give money to strangers,  our lives to the depraved.

We lust for composure in a void.  They wish us no void, tell us no tale, love the ones they are with…us …always us….always lucky little us.   They marvel at the variety and depravity of  life’s blood.  No more sneaking through sins unapplauded, unwanted.  No more lust driven fancies.  No more fun.

The pleasure of deeply held perversion is gone with the wind.  The pleasure of deeply held perversion is a spectator sport for the thought police and the enemies of my soul..Let me entertain my enemies.  Let me give my lustful fantasies to others to enjoy.  They deserve it.  They need their thrills and fancies.  I need their prurient interest.  We all need the great arena of shared experience.  The oh so recognized theater of the primed absurd.

We all can reap the wild dirge of rapscallion fancy….and be better wonders for it.  We all can  reap the wild wind together and know that it is worth the breeze in the trees. it…the pains of the gains, the crud of the stealing of us.  Cheep thrills and good shopping, the main character, the star of the constant story of our dreary little lives.  Tawdry and good and fun and done..the passing panorama.  I liked it better when there were just hidden cameras and bugs in my bedroom.  There was a nice cozy sense of security there.

Ahh, the mind set.  Ahh, the prejudices.  Ahh, the soul of a vital capital economy with the moxie and guts to be great.  The drive.  The resource.  The navigations of the rough seas of competition with the wind not enough at your back.  The iron will.  The self determination.  The drive.  The pride.  The heart of the risk taker.  The grand traits of a grand country.  B e they ever cherished and honored, celebrated and reflected upon.  Scrap and fight.  Hustle and move.  Do what has to be done.  Build and build.  Empire, good empire.  Hard scrabble and brass knuckles.  It ain’t so damned easy.  Spit and get off of the floor.  Keep coming.  Keep coming.  Keep coming.  Winning is tough.  Keeping turf is tough.  Building is tough.  This is romance.  This is steel.

Ahh the poor inferior helpless.  Unschooled, unable, unwarranted, unloved.  Ahh, the comfortable dependents upon the sweat and work of others.  The path is there for the traveling.  The stakes are there for the taking.  Life’s owes nothing but death and squalor.  Manna from the haves to the needy is manna earned.  Work is production.  Production creates sustenance.  No production.  No sustenance.  No sustenance….no survival.

All is fair always in the market place.  It is self defining.  The ones who corner the means and methods win.  The ones who take away extreme power do so as a protective measure.  The winners win only so long as the system has the backing of state sanctioned law or force…or non state sanctioned law or force.  There are no guarantees that the winners won’t push themselves over a cliff.  There are no guarantees that the losers will go quietly.

Survival for all requires the hording of force and the use thereof.  Company thugs and union goons have had their time in the sun.  They would like to come back

Power corrupts.  It corrupts mightily and famously.  It corrupts hedonisticlaly, morally, severely. It turns virtue on its head and relegates expression to a game.  Power fuels the laundered images of fear and the abject lack of restraint.  Power goads and practices, flails and takes what it takes.  It can be a serene thing  it can be a strong thing, a mocking thing, a self satisfied thing.  Power can shine like a beacon, drop like a stone, crush like a runaway truck.  It lures.  It calls.  It wants.  It produces sweet songs to calm the ear, sweet reason to sack the instincts.  It may turn away from its prey and seem to be something else, a trivial thing that hides itself  from challenges and flies sweetly from inspection.  Power knows.  It sweats.  It works very very hard. It knows itself.  It knows its dupes.  It glorifies all.

Dominance Games: The landscape gets cold at night

Again we mock the human soul.  Again we mock the human spirit.  The cadres of popular imagery are apparent no more.  Damn the torpedoes, all speed ahead.  The more we behave the better we become at ability.  The more we are drunk with the powers of observation, the more we are observant of the void.  The emptiness of the great desert of formless nothing haunts our futures and it is a barren desert, a hot dry place.

The landscape gets cold at night, a counterpoint to the extreme heat of the day. It is an uninviting place, the future in times of trouble and uncertainty.  It mocks us, our belief in it, in its presence, its shape.  It can retreat and hide, run away or crush.  It stares us down a hungry lion.

Deal with what isn’t there.  Build monuments to what is not real.

In my name they go to war.  In my name they rule the waves of production, the seas of competence.  In my name they accommodate the needs and wants of the needy, the wants and aspirations of the desirous, the happy little frolics of the serious and the moral.

In my name they please.  They distribute goods and services.  They distribute hearts and minds.  They distribute ease and sanity.

In my name they sower with efficiency, plunder with joy, return to me the dregs upon my investment.  They produce.  They camouflage.  They placate and the are that between us and a world without function.

In my name they do what there is that has to be done.  In my name they do it well.  They do it adroitly.  They have no spasms of regret.  They are professional.

In my name they grease the wheels of a better more sane world.  In my name they await their applause humbly.  In my name they regard the slings and arrows of dark screamers with regret and in my name they view with sad detachment.  They know better.  In my name.

In my name they are seasoned.  In my name they are worldly and wise and in my name they know the functions of the world.  In my name they are of one with the veils of hidden charity of spirit and the veils of the hidden philanthropy of the heart.  They are at one with progress in my name.  In my name we need ask no more.

In my name they are what they are.  In my name they act as they can.  In my name they act where they can.  They are good because they are.  In my name they are all that they can be.  In my name they act.  For themselves they act.  It is that true noble philosophy that serves.  They act so that I can be free.

And I support them.
